Great to learn
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is awesome. My daughters love using this especially to learn how to say the animals in Spanish. They are all about learning Spanish right now and this makes it easy for them to do so. And the page turning is easy and will withstand getting ripped off.

Love this toy!

The pictures and sounds are perfect for him to understand, learn and enjoy. I love the LeapFrog brand!

My son loves it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves this leapfrog book. He’s nonverbal and has ASD and loves animals. This book is great because all he has to do is push the animal for it to make the sound, he even starts mimicking the animal sounds. It’s a wonderful little book.

Love this toy!

Fantastic!

Great sound book

Interesting Concept but Poor Execution
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this book for my 16 month old daughter and she seems to enjoy it well enough. She really likes the songs and the bright colors. As a parent I am a fan of the concept of this book. However, there are several aspects of this book that I wish could be changed. My biggest complaint is that the pages are hard for my daughter to manipulate. The pages are made of a tough plastic that stand up well to damage. However, her tiny hands really struggle with turning individual pages. I wish all the pages were about the thickness of a board book. My second complaint is that not all of the animal sounds are accurate. For example the worm makes an inching sound effect similar to what would be found in a cartoon. My last complaint is that the animals facts are vague, uninteresting and repetitive. I don't need a book to tell my daughter that a firefly is small and that a beetle is very small. This toy is recommended for children between 18 months and 6 years of age but it is not a valuable educational tool for older children. It entertains my toddler well enough but I wouldn't order it for older children.

Leap Frog 100 Animals Book
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so excited and blown away by LEAP FROG 100 Animals Book. This product is recommended for Ages 18+ Months. This book teaches Core Learning Skills. I love that it teaches animal names, animal habitats, animal sounds. I couldn't believe that this teaches all those things ,and it also teaches all these things and it teaches my daughter in Both English and Spanish. I definitely recommend this product to everyone with young children. Not only is my daughter learning all about animals in English and Spanish but I too am learning Spanish as well while I am helping her to learn. There is 3 learning modes 1 Animal Names, 2 Learn Animal Facts (habitats) and 3 Learn Animal Sounds. It also plays 3 learning songs as well. This product is very sturdy and well made because my daughter is tough on her toys, and we all know how many times kids drops things and I really love this product because of it being dropped and not a scratch on it. I really like that this product has a perfect handle that fits my daughter's small hands and perfect weight light enough for my daughter to carry, but heavy enough to survive kids rough handling at same time. I have totally enjoyed all the laughter,smiles,all while learning at same time.

Educational and Fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3-year-old loves the Leapfrog 100 Animals Book! I think the giraffe print handle gives it such a unique look. This book is a very educational and is full of information about animals. It is lightweight and easy for her to carry. My daughter loves to bring it with her during car rides. We travel a lot, and she loves to bring it along. It keeps her entertained for over an hour, which is great. She is able to choose what she wants to learn about all by herself. It has a volume control which is fantastic. This book also comes with an English or a Spanish option. During play time my child has three different ways to play. The first way speaks the name of the animal, and the noise the animal makes. The second option gives a fun fact about the animal. The third setting plays only the sound the animal makes. The pages are durable and easy to turn, and there is so much to choose from. This book is very easy to clean. If the pages get dirty, I can just give them a quick wipe down, and they are clean again. This toy has it all, it is easy to clean, easy to carry, educational, plays music, and lights up! If you are looking for a book to teach your child about animals in all differernt habitats, I highly recommend this learning book.

Wonderful Learning Toy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LeapFrog has always been a company my family has purchased. I have three young children and we like to have educational toys in our home. LeapFrog 100 Animals Book was a huge hit! Our youngest son is starting to show more interested in learning. We want to have toys that give him the ability to learn but nothing that will be too difficult and won’t keep his attention. This is perfect!
I’ll start off by saying the packaging is great. He noticed the animals right away and his favorite color is green, so big hit at first glance!
There are so many different options for this toy. Choosing between English and Spanish is really neat. Bennett is able to press any animal and hear many different things. There’s three different settings; you could hear names, fun facts, or music. Each setting says something different about each animal. The sound is very loud and clear which I feel is extremely important at this age.
Bennett has been using his new LeapFrog book for at least twenty minutes and he’s still finding new facts about animals. I’m so impressed on how well it has held his attention and the information he is learning.
I am extremely impressed with the LeapFrog Animal Book. It’s fantastic quality and teaching our son in a exciting, instructional way. Especially during the quarantine, it’s so important to keep our children intrigued in learning. What a fun way to keep our little ones mind active!

Excellent interactive learning tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to utilize Leapfrog's 100 Animals Book with my two children, ages 14-months and 3-years-old. As an educator and parent, I am always seeking fun and interactive toys that will provide educational value. The Leapfrog 100 Animals Book is a really great interactive book-- easy enough for both of my children to manipulate. This book features animals from an array of environments, each of the six double-sided pages color-coded and marked with an icon to help you little one distinguish habitats. Both my children are easily able to turn the pages and touch the animals independently. Because I love products that are versatile, I am a huge fan of being able to use the 100 Animals Book to teach my children skills relevant to their age and milestones. With my 14-month-old, this book is terrific for targeting fine motor-skills, such as pointing to specific objects and turning moderately-thick pages. We work on language by pointing to and labeling animals and imitating their sounds. With my 3-year-old, we have targeted the discussion of animal habitats, worked on adjectives for various climates, etc. I find this book equally entertaining for both of my children, despite their age difference. The Leapfrog 100 Animals Book features two volume choices, two languages (English/Spanish) and features a slider to choose the type of book interaction (animal labels/sound, find the animal by sound, or song). The interactive start button on the bottom right-hand corner of the book initiates songs and other fun interactions. I do think that the sensitivity in the book is a bit high, at times, especially if my younger child uses more than one finger for pressing a specific animal (perhaps decreasing sensitivity or spacing animals a bit more may help). Overall, however, the Leapfrog 100 Animals Book is a really terrific way to incorporate animal fun and learning into your simple playtime routine!

Great for learning!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this leapfrog hundred animals bug in hopes of getting my almost to your road to talk a little bit more he talks but not as much as his brother did at his age. I love that this world has sounds the mimic the animals some animals don’t have sound in the sounds of the associate with the animals are weird and not realistic (like the crab has the sound of a cartoon character sneaking around the house).
Other than that this is a really great book he starting to recognize animals a little bit more and some of the animals that he did know and knew the sound of like a dog and a cat he pointed them out fairly quickly and mimic to the sounds. I love that this is an interactive work and that he can play with it on his own. I use it with him so that he can get the hang of recognizing the animals and so that I can help him with repetition as far as remembering who the animals are.
I like that it names the name of each page when you turn the pages and I also like that you could easily go from one place to another just by pressing your hand on the book the leapfrog knows that you’re on the first page of the second page ETC. One thing I would recommend is may be having it a little bit louder than it is it’s loudest level is more like a medium I mean it doesn’t have to scream at us but if you could be a smidge more louder than what it presently is that would that would be really beneficial. Sometimes if we’re in the same room and we’re using a book and someone is watching TV he can be a little hard to hear.
I love the leapfrog makes products that help growth motor skills and I think that this book 100% helps in letting the kids expand their vocabulary and recognize animals and their sounds. For some animals who don’t technically have a sound I will definitely look into swapping those animals out for animals that you make sounds. That could be beneficial instead of having bubble noises for fish or sneaky cartoon noises for crabs.
