[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old son was immediately excited about all the colorful objects and cards in the box. His favorite was the dice. He is at the end of his preschool year so he already was knowledgeable on all the topics included in the box. Regardless, he still has fun showing off all his new learned skills to me. As a parent there were a few things I would of liked to see different. The paper worksheets are one time use, which amid a bummer. I think reusable maybe laminated with an eraser marker would be nice. As soon as my son got ahold of them they were toast. I also think the paper instructions could use some improvement. They were difficult to navigate especially while trying to wrangle an excited child. I found myself continually going back to try and figure out how to use each item an feeling a little disappointed in the ideas and limited use. I think a more robust and easier to navigate instructions for parents would really help make this skill builders box useful. In the end I am happy to have received this as a free promotion for reviews but think I would be disappointed if I had spent a good amount of money on it.
