Interesting build with a great final product, BUT
The build was enjoyable, with just the right level of difficulty to make it a relaxing challenge. AND, the minifigures are excellent. However, the final build, while aesthetically pleasing, is structurally less secure than expected. Mainly, the articulation between the camera and the tripod is very wobbly ( or, perhaps, I did something wrong?). I do recommend this build, as the final structure, the minifigures, and the ancillary structure are a delight to look at, and to have on display.

Arguably One of LEGO's Coolest Sets
I'd had my eye on this set for about a year before finally pulling the trigger and I have to say that waiting to buy it was very foolish. It is arguably one of the coolest sets that LEGO has ever put out - and that's not just my opinion; my girlfriend - who is not a LEGO user and generally has zero interest in the sets I build - LOVES it and thinks it's absolutely incredible.

One small improvement
The only thing that could improve this build is for the white trim of the "100" at the top to be metallic silver.

Worth the Wait
This is a must have for any Disney fan. The build was enjoyable and the level of detail fantastic Best part was the stip of film showing snips from their first movie to one of their most recent. Well worth the price for this build.

The Magic Is Real
This is an amazing display set. As a movie camera this is an OK set. As a Disney tribute set it's amazing. The small things make a huge difference. Yes, the Walt Disney figure is a man in a suit, and Bambi and Dumbo don't move, but it's amazing to have them in Lego. The film with Lego Disney images is so fun. The build itself isn't the most fun. There are a lot of things to pin together and steps to watch, but the build and the features that result are well worth it.

Amazing set for photographers and film enthusiasts
As soon as I saw this set on the LEGO website, I knew I had to have it. As a photographer, having a set that's dedicated to being a camera is amazing. Also getting Walt put together in the first bag gave me some fun little photo ideas of him overseeing the build. So much amazing detail was put in to this set. Only thing I wish I had was something to add a little tension to the clacker mechanism inside the camera. As a long time disney fan, the stories in the instruction booklet, the mickey and minnie figures as well as bambi and dumbo, are so cute. The film scenes wrapping around the camera bring up so much nostalgia, and the slates that stack to form an actual scene from one of the movies is a fun little gem that I had way more fun with than I probably should have. This camera will be displayed proudly on my camera shelf for many years to come.

Actor approved
As an actor, this was a fun build. I got this because I wanted to showcase my profession.
I had to take a section or two apart to adjust the camera position because it was a little wobbly due to builder error.
I like the detail in the camera structure. Would have been awesome if lights were added to help enhance section camera sections like the real camera does.
Other then that, this was a fun build.

An Animating Experience
This is a perfect piece of Old Hollywood. The design is clever, fun to build, neat "studio" with the characters and the overlaying animation cells. Maybe somehow lighting that part would have been an nice extra, but shine a flashlight behind them and it's cool. The "camera sound" is fun. The drawing studio inside the camera is clever. The strip of film adds distinction and history. I really like it.

Not tight, flops around, shakey, top heavy…. Top is held to base with two short pegs. Should have made it stronger to support. Leans to one side. Dissapointed.

A Legend Immortalized
I really enjoyed building this set. The figure stand was very impressive and that picture stack was a big surprise. Dumbo and Bambi are a great addition to my collection but to get Walt Disney himself is just something else entirely. I watched the Walt Before Mickey movie while building this and I had a great time.

This is a classic Disney Image and an excellent keepsake for celebrating the Disney 100 Celebration. The key characters are all there Dumbo, Walk and both Mickey and Minney in black and white!! Great Piece
I didn't like lego's and I swear that I would never buy them. I'm a Disney adult there for I collect Disney pieces. This was bought for me as a christmas gift because I love building and putting things together and now I'm addicted, I love building legos!

Easy fun build
This build was pretty easy and relaxing. I have no idea why this is rated at age 18+. I would say 10+ or 13+ might be more accurate. My family are all Disney fans. That's why I purchased it. The only really repetitive parts are the camera legs.

Tribute Camera
I absolutely loved this build. It is, by far, one of my favorite pieces in my collection. It's very well thought out, and made. The film strips look incredible and being able to turn the crank and hear a film reel is such a great touch.

Unique Item - Easy Build
I bought this to go with my wife's Disney Castle and to make sure she has Bambi, Dumbo and Walt for her set. Took only about a couple of hours to build. Not a fragile as I expected - the legs are fairly sturdy. And no stickers!

Amazing piece
