Awesome set!
I loved putting this set together. I had the Harry Potter films playing while I was building and there were so many intricate details to appreciate. Recommend to any Harry Potter fan!

It was a really fun building experience and it looks great for display. I really appreciate it being the entirety of Hogwarts castle and surrounding grounds. It’s part of the reason why I chose this over the larger castle build.

It was a great build, so many cute details. Wish there were a golden snitch & Hagrids hut.. extra iconic details. That's just my opinion, I definitely recommend this set!

My 8yr old got this set on9-2-23. He started it in 9-3. He completed it on9-10. He loved every bit on it and done it all on his own. Great set!

Perfectly scaled, detailed version of Hogwarts castle. Great display for smaller spaces. A lot of small pieces but great fun to build. The only thing missing is the Quidditch pitch! Think I'll add that on myself... definitely would highly recommend this set for any Harry Potter collector.

An intimate look into the mind of a creator
This was quite possible the finest set I’ve built. The experience was second to none, this has made it to my very exclusive, Must Build list, which is this set, and the medi scale executor. This was an amazing set. It displays beautifully and the build was second to none.

Missing way to many parts
During my build this set was missing atleast 5 different parts. I’m just lucky they were smaller ones that I had spares of otherwise I would been stuck waiting for the parts. The parts were mainly the clear water tiles and 2x1 gray pieces

Excellent Built - Horrible Instruction Guide
Love the castle and its attention to detail. A+ for design, simplicity, and appeal.
Horrible instruction manual. Multiple steps did not accurately list which pieces were needed. I oftentimes found myself confused because a new piece would be shown later on, but no where in the manual did it say to place it there. Missing pieces (window for astronomy tower was #1 issue whereas all other missing pieces could be replaced with extras). Quality control for this set is all over the place.
Regardless, still a wonderful build and would love to see more sets like this for other franchises.

It was a fun and easy build. It was for my 11 year old daughter who has only built one other Lego set in her life. She had no problems and zero frustration.

Great build...mostly
I really enjoyed this build. There are several mistakes in the instructions ie. pieces that were in the picture but not actually needed. I think page 17 has one of those. It was frustrating, but I moved on.

bough it brand-new but missing several piece's
there are a lot of errors in this set every bag is missing one piece a little one or a different color of a piece I need or even a different brick I don't need I am not very pleased that I need to go through my box of lego pieces to find one of the pieces and the right color I sometimes just don't have the piece at all it's annoying

Slightly disappointed
I loved how the books showed where the pieces went by marking them in red it really helps to ensure correct placement. I was a tad disappointed regarding the detail of the ship and the flying carriage. Not to mention it left off the quidditch pitch and Hagrids house. Easy to display than the large castle but lacking the fine details i was looking for

Gorgeous castle!
This was my very first lego set (aside from the ones I had as a child) and it is gorgeous. We put it together over several date nights and it was so fun seeing everything come together. The water/landscaping truly makes it a beautiful decorative piece. My only complaint is that no other set has the landscaping/environmental setting that this one does

Best Build
I've built quite a bit of Lego and this has to be one of my absolute favorite builds. The amount of detail is wonderful. From the very beginning of the build you uncover the secrets of Hogwarts. The use of brick is excellent with a few pieces I've never seen in a build before.

The legos are nothing like they were before. I am beyond disappointed with Lego. I spend thousands a year on Lego builds and it is no longer worth it. Would not recommend.
