Misleading
I, like others, purchased this and other components after being suggested to by the back of the box of the holiday main street set. However, you need three boxes to make a full loop!!! That is ridiculous, especially for the price. I understand (only after purchasing, i might add......) that this set is meant to be an expansion for other train sets, but then dont suggest it for something else!!!!!!! Could have at least warned that youd need so many. Feeling incredibly ripped off. Extremely disappointed. Not what ive come to expect from lego. At least sell a set that is all curves or something

Great EXPANSION Tracks
These tracks are great for anyone looking to EXPAND their Lego train setup. Note that I said expand and not create. If you buy one of these expansion sets it will not create a full circle. You will either need to buy a Lego train set that includes tracks or buy 3 of these sets. All in all, this is great for expanding your Lego train world.

Great, but limited options
The track add on box is OK, but insufficient for doing much more than adding onto existing sets. If anyone wants to create even a simple oval, multiple sets of this type would have to be purchased to do this, often to the chagrin of the parent, etc. There should be options to purchase just the tracks required to do this, or at least instructions on what would be required, rather than leave it up to guesswork. When my kids were small, I had an elaborate train set up (fixed to a base), so they could create anything they wanted. It was great for the time, but times have changed. I purchased the Hogwarts Express train set for my granddaughter, which in fact came with zero tracks. No problem, I bought a couple sets of tracks so she could enjoy a track set up. However, it was quickly obvious that the few pieces in the sets were still sadly insufficient to complete a simple oval. It is OK to show with illustrations how the box of tracks can extend other sets, but is no help to the purchaser what it would take to do anything else. Having some sort of option to get just the pieces a user needs to create and complete a simple layout would alleviate buying frustrations and help reduce negative reviews.

Does its job
I bought this set for the intention of adding to a looped track I had and it does just that. To help with its reviews, adding a bullet point in the Specification tab saying "This set does not make a complete circuit" would benefit the advertising. However, I got it to expand, not complete, and it works.

Be aware when buying this set that despite the picture on the back of the box, it does NOT make a full loop.

Misleading and disappointing
Last year my 2 daughters received the Harry Potter Hogwarts Express train for Christmas. So this year, we got them two sets of the train tracks. They were SO disappointed that 2 boxes wasn’t enough to make even ONE loop. The picture on the box makes it look like you can build a whole big loop. What a disappointment LEGO :(
I guess we should have read other reviews to see that we needed to buy at least 3 boxes.

ok, i guess?
bought it just for the flex tracks. turns out they're not good. all of my rolling stock wobbles severely on it and derails when it's placed a certain way (i cant recreate it), and the new passenger train's rear car's rear bogie (60337) derails on the flex tracks no matter what.

You need three or four of these to even make a loop. Some trains come with zero tracks and this is the only set with tracks and no trains. We need a single set full loop available.
