It belongs in a museum!
Absolutely incredible set, if you’re a fan of Indiana Jones and Lego I would highly recommend this set. You build it in three separate parts and it’s the same order they go through the temple in the movie. Amazing attention to detail, levers, and booby traps you can pull. I was most surprised by the ball mechanism, it’s really well put together and a great set! Lego knocked it out of the park on this one!!

I typically only buys LEGO Star Wars sets as I am huge Star Wars nerd. When I saw this set was being released I had to order it immediately. This is by far one of the best sets I’ve ever built. The attention to detail is off the charts and all of the moving parts take it to the next level. Would highly recommend this for anyone that is an Indiana Jones fan and LEGO fan you will not be disappointed.

LEGO MUST MAKE MORE
This Lego set has to be one of if not the best set in years. It has playability, and not just your normal playability. Its fun and exciting and makes you wonder how they figured out how to build the mechanisms that make everything work. On top of that, it has mass amounts of display-ability! Look at it! If you’re a fan of Raiders of the Lost Ark, this set is for you. Lego has to make more Lego Indiana Jones sets! Something about the IP mixes so well with the Lego brand and it makes magic! If Adventure Has a Name, It must be Indiana Jones!

My favorite lego set ever!
My friends gifted me this set for my birthday this year after we watched the new Indiana Jones movie and I am in love with this set. It's full of features and I've spent hours messing with all the little contraptions on it. The minifigures are updated and excellent, and the build was an absolute blast to see all these elements come together to make this absolutely massive set. It's an excellent conversation piece, play set, the best Indiana Jones lego set and my favorite set ever. This thing is more photogenic than some fashion models.

Interesting Balance
With the fun moving elements in the diorama, it was a cool and unique building experience to combine some complicated technic elements with the aesthetically pleasing diorama. It’s definitely important to make sure the technic is built correctly before moving on, or you won’t be able to go back later without undoing a lot of your build. Overall, a great experience!

Amazing tribute to Indiana Jones
Awesome set, with a ton of great details. Probably my favorite diorama set. Has multiple triggerable mechanics that are so much fun! Great for kids to play with even though I bought it for myself.

The best set from one of LEGO's greatest themes
This set is absolutely gorgeous. It is so well designed, and has such cool play features and such awesome looking minifigures (and has such a great price). The set just oozes love for Indiana Jones, and is my favorite diorama and Indiana Jones set yet. I can only hope that this line continues, because getting more Indiana Jones sets like this one would be a dream come true. Seriously, anyone who is even passingly interested in Indiana Jones should pick this up, it is such a special set.

Gorgeous set for Indy fans like me
This set is beyond beautiful. It is inventive, high quality, and challenging without being difficult. It works great as both a display and a playable playset. The only possible complaint I have is that some of the spaces are small to try and reach your hand into, but given that this set straddles the line between a playset and a display set I can forgive that little point. Grab this set and play the Indiana Jones soundtracks while putting it together. You will have a wonderful time

Nice Display Piece
I had the privilege of participating in the Indiana Jones show at Disney Hollywood a number of years ago. That was way before Covid and they pulled audience members to be extras. This build reminded of that experience as this is the opening act. The build is not overly complicated and I really like how the action pieces go together. I didn't have any issues but a couple of steps made me concetrate on how the pieces fit together. Would recommend to any Indy fans.

It’s a ‘MUST BUY, MUST BUILD!’
I have built 3 dioramas over the holidays and all have been worth the money, worth the time and each came out looking amazing. But this one takes the cake!
It is an incredible set and so clever how they designed the stone faces, the mechanics/technics (including illumination!), the colors and the mini figs.
This is a great set for the Disney fan, a fantastic set for the Lego fan and and an ultimate set for the INDIANA JONES fan!

Excellent Purchase
This set is a great edition to any collection regardless of what existing collection IS. Especially for fans of Indiana Jones. I bought this for the nostalgia of the old sets from my early childhood I never could afford (because I was a small child). I’m hoping they release that temple of doom set one day, or more remasters from the original line. I would recommend this set to literally everyone!

Temple of the Golden Idol
Very colorful. Ordered this because I enjoyed the movie and my first Minifigures was Indiana Jones and I had to have this set because it had the rock and the golden Idol.
The moving parts are great! The rock movement is so cool and I like the way the Golden Idol moves. The large colorful head idol is a little tricky and I just like to keep him in place. This is mainly for display on a shelf.

Raiders of the Lost Arc Opening Scene
I really like it so far. I got through the first part, and have two more to go. Only problem I have with the set is where to put it because I’m running out of room in my Lego room (I’m out of room actually) and can’t just place it in my living room, then people will think all I do is build Lego. But anyway it’s a really great set and one any Lego fan or Indiana Jones fan would love.

Amazing set!
This new design of the infamous temple escape scene is truly amazing! In comparison to the original set, Lego group displays an exemplary level of design and new techniques showcasing how much the brand has grown over the past 15 years. I am beyond happy with the building process of this set, and it beautifully displays on my bookshelf with the rest of my Lego Indiana Jones sets.

A True Piece of Art
This set is amazing! I have always loved two main things when it comes to Lego: display-ability and function, and this set is the perfect mix. I haven't built a set that mixes being fascinating to look at and so fun to fiddle with so incredibly well in a long time. It's a little expensive, but trust me, it's more than worth it.

Best Indy Set EVER
This set was pure fun to build, and while the intention was to have this as a display set... I will admit to spending quite a bit of time playing with it.
The technic controls are very cleverly designed, and I feel like the designers nailed the concept, as it feels like I am watching this scene as I play!

Solid build, enjoyed all the Easter eggs along the way as well as each section being enjoyable on its own. Only possible negative is it is not linear, which makes it important to have the right spot for it because you will need a deeper shelf, but if that’s the biggest trouble, we are in great shape!

I would wholeheartedly recommend this lego set.
The build takes about 5-6 hours. It's a very detailed and structured set. Comes with a big instruction booklet with nice background on the scene and the film franchise.
It's an incredible diorama, with lots of playability in a form of all the booby traps, which are done using technic parts. These are, for the most part, well hidden. I would also say that if you like doing nice photos of your builds or even do stop motion animation, this a great set to have, because the temple itself is built to be an environment with lots of detail, and depth!
Pricing, to me, is fair. Price per piece is good, especially when you compare it with most sets in this price range today, and the sheer value you're getting is fair for the price. If you're a big Indiana Jones fan, I would say it's a no brainer at any price, but if you're patient, for sure wait for a discount or a nice GWP!
This is my favorite lego set, and it captures one of my favorite movie scenes!

Perfect Indiana Jones Set
I loved the intricate nobs that made the boulder, door, rope, and idol go down with the light brick. I put it on my shelf as a background for all my 2008 indiana jones minifigures and it looks super pretty. If you are a collector and love indiana jones this is the set for you for sure.

My wife absolutely loves this set. We had to go out of our way to get it. She is a big Indiana Jones fan and she loves the interactivity of the set. She also really likes how it looks as a displayable set. We plan to add it to one of our book shelves as a book end.

Hesitant but well worth it
I was hesitant to buy this set at first because I had never purchased one at this price point; however I was never once hit with buyers remorse and throughout my entire 6 hours of building it, I enjoyed myself plenty. Makes for a colorful display for my book shelf.

Fantastic set!
Who ever designed this set deserves a raise. I have built a lot of LEGO since getting into LEGO around 2008. This was one of the most fun sets I have ever built. It was challenging in a good way and had lots of amazing little detail that add life to the set.

Fantastic Set

This set was crazy fun to build, and the interactive traps are well thought out and imaginative. There’s some really cool parts usage for the spooky face statues in the last vignette. A must buy for any LEGO and Indy fan!

Even with the instructions there are some difficult parts in the set in particular the final few bags but absolutely worth the price and very fun both with the rest of the building process and after.
