Every Kid Has a Favorite
Even us forty, um, something-ish kids. The space ship was great, the helicopter was phenomenal, the Delorean and Optimus were remarkable, the loop coaster is a blast, but Bowser, he’s MY favorite so far this year. A blast to build, solid as a rock, beautiful to display, and easily customizable. This guy has a forever spot right next to the block, the NES, and the TV. He’s a masterpiece. He’s MY favorite :-)

My Little Guy
Once he's complete, he's like a plump little baby! I went to pick him up to pose and display him and his weight and heft made me swaddle him instinctively! I really love this little guy. He poses so well and is incredibly expressive. The two towers on either side of him are really easy to knock off accidentally, but they also can be put back in place just as easily. The only difficulty I had was with the firing mechanism for his fireball. I finished building him and couldn't get it to fire. I ended up taking his whole head apart again to troubleshoot and figure out where I went wrong. Turns out a small piece was just barely misaligned. It's a finicky thing that has to be set up juuuuuuuust right to work; but definitely is very cool and fun to use once you get it in place. Great build, great display piece, and cool addition to my other Nintendo Lego pieces.

Incredible Mechanics!
As you can see from the photos, this build is wonderfully detailed and imposing. However, the thing that the photos don't necessarily show is the mechanical detail involved - each part of Bowser has some range of movement, which really brings him to life. For example, both of his legs flex a bit so that he can stand on whatever surface, and his tail moves to adapt to whatever height it needs to be. So so so inventive by Lego!!

Lego gets an A+
One of my favorite builds to date. While not as technical as some like the technic R/C cars I've built, it is one of the most fun to build with the puppetry aspects that have been incorporated into it. I hope to see more like this in the future with other characters.

Great build from beginning to end
I absolutely loved this build. It was super fun watching it all come together bag after bag. LEGO really hit it out of the park with this one. Bowser looks amazing, you can actually move it and play with it. The size, the weight, everything feels super sturdy. On to my next build....

Absolute best Lego set. Period!
This is a set that keeps getting better the more you build on it. The ah-ha! Moments follow one after another into a crescendo of bliss when the pieces finally fit together perfectly. I was constantly murmuring ‘how in the…’, ‘no way…’, ‘this is brilliant…’ the entire build.
Lego has truly outdone themselves here.
Ps my daughter especially loves it when I puppeteer the bowser (which is incredibly easy to do) with her princess peach.

Best Set for a Nintendo fan!

Might Bowser is Superrrific!!!
This is the best build since the T-Rex Rampage, as far as size and fun building experience. Only thing I could request would be that when a set has a large instruction booklet, it be broken up into smaller sections or spiral bound for ease of use. Otherwise, five stars across the board (minus one for price point).

Simply one of the best sets ever to me. The size is just perfectly appropriate, also with no sticker. Every things are prefect, except the mouth can not be kept open. Now it can be nicely displayed near to my lego baby yoda, and groot.

Best set yet!!!!
Let me start of this review by saying, WOW! I loved this set SOOO much! I got it as a christmas gift and immediately started building! I finished this build within 12 hours and it was sooo much fun! By far its the biggest set in my collection! Every time I look at the set I cant stop admiring how amazing it is! Thank you to everyone who designed this set. You guys did amazing!

Satisfying build
Starting the build with the mighty bowsers platform, The two towers on the side fall off easily, but it's neat because of the hidden "pow" brick under one of the posts. This piece is also best as a display so breaking the platform isn't a constant problem. Bowser's prominent shapes and colors make him a super satisfying build. Including lots of fun ways for pieces to come together to form durability. He isn't very mobile in the legs but the arms are good for positioning and the eyes make great expressions. Overall a great set, definitely the coolest mario set.

Amazing set! I am really digging these Nintendo sets and am currently making a big Lego Super Mario diorama. This set comes with 22 bags of Lego and a cm thick instruction booklet only. My only issue is it didn't come with a minifigure bowser like other large sets I've seen. This set was a nice change from the technic car builds I usually do, the vibrant pieces, detailing of his shell and the base brick patterns were fun. I really hope Lego does more Nintendo sets, maybe a big DonkeyKong/Mario picture set with the barrels like the Starry Night?!

Great Set
This is a great set that is fun to build with a great design and good playability for a piece like this. Once internal structure is built, every step is a fun addition. The partial build head skeleton with eyes is creepy cool. Great Lego design work, especially on shell. A solid durable build which is a refreshing given some of the other character sets. Not super challenging but the head required some care. It let us go pretty far with head on backwards before that rookie mistake was noticed. The mostly big pieces were a refreshing change after the tedium of just finishing the Colosseum. Yeah... the sets are noticeably more expensive, but I think in this case more of that goes to larger piece size instead of licensing. This is just a really enjoyable set.

My Childhood Done Right
This set is HUGE, which represents how I remember bowser as a young man. The anticipation of this set was met with just as much satisfaction when it was finally built. This set is a MUST for just about any male who is 38+. This is an amazing representation of our childhood, boys!

Amazing build
I received this set for myself on Christmas. I built it in 5 hours and 45 minutes. The model is highly detailed with a plethora of unique building techniques. I added a light kit to my model and it looks wonderful. Best lego set of 2022, if not best set of the 21st century.

I enjoyed every step of this build. I was always excited to see the next feature as I was building it. So many moving components with a couple of somewhat hidden fun extras. I'm an avid Nintendo/Mario fan so I love this being a focus in my collection.

Mighty Bowser ROCKS!!
I missed the initial Nintendo Super Mario Brothers game when it first came out, but my kids were huge fans when it was first released. With that being said, this set really appealed to me for its size, features, and how cool it looked as a display piece when finished. After completing it, I have to admit it was one of my favorite sets to build because of all the different elements involved and the fact that there was very little repetition in the build. It was amazing to see Bowser come together since you really don’t have any idea of what you’re assembling until each of the sub assemblies come together. The way that the head and arms and legs move is really ingenious and the assembled model can be easily moved without fear of it coming apart. Lego really hit the bullseye with this set!!
