IDeal for kids 3 years old above. I gave this Calendar Magnetic toy to my friend's daugther and come out as her favorite toy. The kid goes to a PreK program and she can relate to daily calendar. I

Yes I will buy this product all over again
The calendar is a perfect way to get my son to learn the months the day is the year the weather and the activities that he is going to do on a daily basis. It also provides a routine for my son to check the calendar every day and it also makes learning fun considering the colors the drawings and the funny faces that are there. It just makes learning so much better for him we're hiking graphs the idea of what he's learning associated with the pictures the letters the numbers.

Great calendar but missing a part
Waited to buy this until late 2020 in hopes that the year magnets would reflect current dates (2021 and beyond), as the photos do not reflect that. Was happy to see that is has been updated. However disappointing to receive a calendar with holes drilled for hanging, but the string shown in the photos, missing. My 3 year old was eager to hang it up, but we'll have to wait until we can get to a craft store. Aside from this small oversight, fun and educational product!

This item is defective
I purchased this twice thinking that the unit I received was an anomaly. However, apparently not, because the replacement also had the same issue. The plastic package sticks to the magnetic backing. First, this creates a hazard to children and second, prevents the magnets from functioning as intended because there is a layer of plastic between the magnet and the board. This is NOT the Melissa & Doug quality I've grown to know and love.

Great customer service
I ordered a magnetic calendar for my grandson. He loves it. The reason why I would order from M&D again is that when I called them to give instructions for delivery, they listened and followed through. It was one of the few gifts that was actually delivered to my family in Manhattan. The person who answered the phone took down the details and was very efficient. And the price was reasonable.

Is it really worth it.
Seriously, I Was Exited To Buy This Product. When I went to the Lakeshore Learning store close to my home I was super exited to make this purchase. But guess what, as soon as I unwraped the calendar it became very obvious that the thing was warped. The magnet label do not stay, I Repeat, do not stay on the board. I just bought this about a month ago and one of the pieces is already broken.

I would recommend this to anyone
This is a fantastic cognitive tool for my mom. It helps her to remember a bit easier, what day of the week, the month and day and the weather that is forcasted for the day. All things that are important to her, are there in a glance, without asking them to be repeated to her all day. It has given her a small sense of independence back, and she and I love filling it in every morning.

Great Manipulative in One Package!
I bought this for my four-year -old granddaughter, and she loves it! The reason I gave it four stars instead of three is because it did not include 2020 year piece. The pieces began with 2021, so we leave the year blank. The chart has many different manipulatives, including the date, month, weather, days of the week, seasons, appointments, how you feel that day, etc.

When I saw my daughter's children use this calendar, I knew it would be perfect for another grandchild, the 3-year-old whose parents keep daily and long-term goals on a white board in their DC kitchen. It has been a HUGE hit! I've received a thank-you video message, a show-and-tell video call, and two thank-you notes (dictated by JAM).Win-win!

Would definitely get this again!
My kids are 8 and 10 and this is very helpful to them to keep track of the day and learn about different holidays. I also like how they can use the emojis to express their feelings which will open the line of communication about that. I'm upset that we lost some of the pieces, but if I have to, I will purchase the entire thing again!

I would definitely recommend this.
My 4 year old son is in pre-k and they are going over the calendar. I always feel its good to do learning at home as well as in school. The more you repeat it the more they will understand it. I love how the calendar also shows the weather, the holidays, etc. I definitely recommend it for kids that are learning about the calendar.

I plan to buy the Responsibility Chart to match!
I original purchased this for myself in my office. Quickly my children showed enjoyment and so it soon became their own. I enjoyed it so much and was so impressed with the quality that I now plan to purchase the Monthly Calendar for my office and the Responsibility Chart for my children to go with the Daily Calendar! I love it!

Not very magnetic
This was gifted to my daughter for preschool and we were excited to learn the days of the week. The magnets do not stay very well and it's like playing Tetris to get the extra magnets to fit on the bottom half even when you're using ones on the top. I gave up because we are constantly searching for numbers and days of the week.

Would recommend!
Using this to help my grandson recognize his surroundings - the weather, days of the week, and to help him understand how he feels and improve self awareness. I think the magnets themselves aren't as easy to use as they could be and it would be nice to not have to rub off glue traces left behind.

My grandson is learning about the calendar in kindergarden and this product is enhancing his enjoyment of learning at school. He LOVES this calendar and especially the hands on approach to the weather and observing the upcoming holidays and learning about months and days of the week.

I'd buy it again.
I like the Daily calendar, it's a great way to teach my 3yrs the day, date, weather and what holiday is that month. I just with it included more daily activities, it only gives a like two or three choices of things to choose from to show what we would be doing on any given day.

I like how this inspires my daughter to keep up with her days. I also like the addition of the blank tile which gives the opportunity for the calendar to be a bit more customized. At least that's what I use it for. Not sure if that's its intended purpose. Overall a good buy.

This is the perfect project for every girl and boy especially since it goes until 2024! We are learning the days of the week, counting the dates and then since we received it just last week it was perfect for MOTHER'S DAY! Highly highy recommend to everyone. A great present

Helpful magnetic calendar
Our granddaughter received the magnetic calendar for Christmas and loves it. So we piruchased one for our grandson (in a different family) for his birthday. I am sure he will enjoy using it, too. Such a helpful learning tool!!! It is constructed well and is so colorful.

I would definitely buy this again!
My daughter is 3, so she doesn't really grasp the days of the week yet. Apart from that, we love the visual that it gives talking about the day of the week, checking the weather outside, etc. The activity tiles are pretty limited so we don't do much with those.

A great learning calendar
Great quality. The only thing I would want improved is many more blank tiles for activities. They only gave one and would rather have 10 so not to have to keep erasing activities on the one blank tile that she does regularly. Also no dry erase pen came with it.

Good product but needs more ability to diversify
The calendar is very nice but I wish it came with more blank pieces for making my own daily events. There is not one for things like school, church or room for ones revolving grandparents that watch them regularly. No way to buy extras separately either.

Great for helping young ones to learn the about their day
I bought this as a birthday present for my 4 year old grandson and he loves it. He loves to make the daily changes on it and it helps him to think of things like the date, day, and weather. My only wish is that there were more blank magnets to write on.

Plastic covering back of magnets
Cute concept, but the plastic sheet that was used for packaging sticks to the back of the magnets. It is impossible to get off. Not a fan of plastic shreds covering my child's toy. Melissa and Doug, please consider revamping the packaging.

Pandemic relief
My grandson has been forced to leave preschool because of the pandemic.He and his parents were thrilled to have a method to begin each day with a routine like his days in preschool. Sturdy and practical- but it was missing 2020!

I bought this for my great-niece and her mom, my niece, liked it so much she wanted the little girl to put it in the kitchen. The child's response was essentially, "No dice." Ha! A very popular item in their house.
