Having a cooperative game has been good at teaching them how we can all work together and increase their communication skills. My kids love trying to race against the raven. The fruit pieces are wooden and well made, they stand up to quite a bit of reckless play. I highly recommend this game for any toddlers or preschoolers!

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Can't wait! I cannot leave a great because they are Christmas presents for my almost two year old grandson. I opened the games that I purchased to check them out. I was very happy with the concepts and quality for first games. The fruits in the First Orchard game are wooden and nice quality. They can be used in stages, sorting first and eventually playing the game. I cannot wait to give them to him. I may just need to break into a game or two early. Not sure I can wait till December.

We’ve had so many laughs and giggles, and the game pieces are perfect for little hands! They’re sturdy and satisfying to pickup. This has been a great first game to teach turns and rules, and we love that it’s cooperative! We always make a big Fuss whenever we roll a crow, it sets our toddler giggling and rolling. Thank you for the wonderful game and memories!

This game is a fun and simple game.Very few pieces too. They are nice and colorful. What's good is you play together as a team which is nice. You don't lose very often. I wish the basket when collecting the fruit was little bigger to hold all the pieces in. Even with that minor issue, still a great game for my daughter.

That is not the case with this game. The cardboard is strong and the pieces are large and colorful. The rules are simple and the game can be completed quickly. My child loves it and we usually play it 2-3 times in a row. Thanks Haba for making games for younger children!

It’s colorful, the pieces are big so you can’t really lose the pieces. My son had fun identifying the colors and shapes and the different fruits. Big enough for little hands to navigate during game play. The instructions are clear on how to play as well. Simple game, yet fun! It comes with a dye to roll, 4 yellow pears, 4 green apples, 4 red apples, and 4 blueberries. 4 cardboard tree pieces, and some for the path. A cute little raven too! My son was able to set up the game for us to play all by himself, after just playing 3 times. Great for kids wanting to be independent. The pieces are wooden, so they are pretty durable. It also comes with a basket for the fruit to be stored in. Everything fits nicely in the box, when it’s time to put it all away. Overall, fantastic first game for your little one(s). Highly recommend!

I played with my mom and my son but he is a little to small to understand the concept of the game. The fruit is big enough for a younger child and I think he will enjoy it when he gets a little older. I would definitely recommend this place this.

We are a big board gaming family and love introducing games to our daughter. Unlike other games we've seen, the pieces are toddler-proof and we love there aren't any small pieces that get lost under a sofa, etc. Highly recommend, only wish we had bought this 6 months earlier.

The game really only takes a few minutes to play with two people and is easy to grasp even for the littlest ones. Heck my youngest even took to the game so well that he wanted to stop the raven from getting the fruit by himself.

The rules are simple and easy to understand for a toddler. And it keeps her engaged and teachers her basic rules of playing a game- rules, taking turns, etc. I highly would recommend this for a kid around the age of 2 and older.

She doesn't quite understand the rules yet, but she will make up her own game of sorting or putting the bird in time out. Yay for free play! The wooden pieces are a great size for little ones, as they're too big for the mouth but just perfect for their little hands.

She also had a blast trying to explain the rules to her grandparents when they were in town. I also love that the board and pieces are of high quality and can also be used in other forms of play.

We can use the fruits for counting and colors. At some point we will encourage actually playing the game. Wonderful quality. I will buy more from this company.

My 2 year old niece and my 3 year old daughter played their version of this game. They kept picking the fruit and carrying them around the house and pretend to eat it. She picked up the rules quickly and easily, will play it by herself or with me. She asks to play almost everyday. The chunky wooden components are beautiful and durable and make great toys.

I with the basket was made from a stronger material than cardboard but other than that it’s a great game. The concept of matching colors in this game is natural yet engaging.
