Welcome to Iron Gate Prison. You and your "friends" have been wrongfully accused of crimes and don't belong behind bars. You've made your case first to the judge, then to the warden, but no one is buying it. Looks like there's only one path to freedom: a good old-fashioned prison break! The good news? One of you is going to make it out. The bad news? Only one of you is going to make it out. Escape Iron Gate Prison by moving through each of the four areas on the board, earning items on the way by completing puzzles, drawing, acting, and trading. The player that passes through the final gate first wins! Will you be the lucky one who can act, draw, and solve your way to freedom? This game offers approximately 45-60 minutes of gameplay with unlimited re-playability.

You have to use your mind for strategy, critical thinking, problem solving and creativity. The older crowd, teens and mid aged all enjoy it. Will definitely keep this in our game night rotation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great party game [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game looks overwhelming at first because there are a lot of pieces and the directions are a little confusing. It's a party game that really is best for adults as some of the mini games within the game are challenging for a college educated adult much less a 13-year-old which is the minimum recommended age for the game. The premise of the game is to be the first one to escape from the prison by moving from room to room which you do so by collecting items which you get by performing tasks and trading. There is some strategy involved, but there is also a lot of group play. There are action cards, puzzle cards, and lucky cards that are all like mini games- drawing something, acting out a word, guessing a brain teaser, rolling dice. Once you get the hang of it, it's really fun and makes for some good laughs trying to complete all the challenges. Highly recommend for an adult game night.

It was a little hard to learn at first, but once we got the hang of it, we were locked in. It feels like a mix of pictionary and escape room-ish puzzles. Definitely something I'll be playing again soon!

I was presently surprised with how many different option and activities the game had. It has been fun for each of us to play in our own way. If you love a challenge and family games give this one a try!

The children and or teenagers involved in the play time were all very much into the game. It was so much fun to see each other acting out what ever the cards said. super fun.
