Product Description

Nosefrida, the original doctor-developed and doctor-recommended nasal aspirator is the new standard in keeping babies naturally snot free. Ingeniously simple Swedish design features a tube that is placed against the nostril (not inside). Parents use their own suction to draw mucus out of their child's nose. Disposable filters prevent any bacterial transfer. Nosefrida is easy to clean, top-rack safe, and BPA and Phthalate free. It is superior to the bulb aspirator, presents no risk or harm to internal nasal structures and is dramatically more efficacious.

Our 6 week old baby developed congestion 3 days ago and has been struggling to breathe which resulted in no sleep for any of us. We tried the saline and bulb syringe over and over with no success, also tried the humidifier as well as a number of other things...our pediatrician's nurse recommended this product and we bought it immediately. We couldn't believe what came out of her nose and immediately she seemed back to her normal self and fell asleep! I'm considering giving these as baby gifts to everyone.

We've ventured into many different brands of nasal aspirators but this was by far the least effective. Our trials are conducted on an 11 month old that has been very stuffy in connection with the seasons and teething. We have the hospital-standard issue, the Little Noses, the Safety First pump action, the Safety First battery operated with music...and the Nosefrida. Nosefrida has not earned a place in pur arsenal though my baby loves to hold the tube! The suction seems insufficient for the. , the tip is too large for direct suction on specific areas...even when they are visible to the eye. I bought the device with high hopes, as well as extea filters and have had no success at all though I have tried multiple times. I generally just resort to the hospital standard issue and make do. I have had no snot-sucking success at all with Nosefrida.

Comments about Fridababy Nosefrida ""The Snotsucker"" Nasal Aspirator:

Our daughter was having a rough time with a cold, so we decided to give the Nosefrida Nasal Aspirator a try. It works well, sometimes better than the nasal aspirator we got at the hospital, and certainly better than anything else we've found since the hospital. It helps to loosen everything up with a humidifier and/or bath in a pre-steamed bathroom. The more vacuum you can pull with your lungs, the better it works.

Comments about Fridababy Nosefrida ""The Snotsucker"" Nasal Aspirator:

The NoseFrida was recommended to me by my pediatrician and at first I was revolted by the idea. I am not now, nor have I ever been fond of "snot sucking"... But being that my 2 month old sounded like a sleeping bulldog with all the congestion in her sinuses I decided to give it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised at how this contraption worked. There is PLENTY of tubing, enough that even without the filter you wouldn't get any of the gunk in your mouth. I like being able to control the strength of the suction and to be able to clean it, unlike the regular bulb suction thing. I highly recommend this product. I do recommend using some saline drops to loosen the gunk before using this.

I love this product, i had seen it in stores before but the idea of it just seemed a bit weird to me so i never purchased it, untill my baby got sick and i found that he wanted nothing to do with having an aspirator inside of his nose. I decided to give nosefrida a try and i love it, its so convenient and easy to use. By the time my son realises what i am doing his nose is cleared up and free of buggies. :) i would defenitly recommend this product to friends and family members. The only thing i feel is that for the price of this aspirator it should come with more then just three filters.

Comments about Fridababy Nosefrida ""The Snotsucker"" Nasal Aspirator:

Let's get this part out of the way and into the open... the thought of sucking out snot with a straw is disturbing to say the least. The friendly picture of a mom doing just this on the front of the package won't do much to help ease your trepidation. In fact, the first time I saw this product I laughed and passed it by swearing I would never do anything so disgusting!

Plain and simple fact, your child WILL get a cold or two within their first year. Seeing that infants have very little in an established immune system that means lots of stuffy noses, snot and boogers that YOU will have to deal with. With a stuffy nose it will be difficult for your baby to eat and sleep as babies tend to be nose-breathers. This will mean lots of fussiness for the parents. When your child is producing what seems like gallons of snot, THOSE TRADITIONAL BULB-SUCKERS JUST WILL NOT CUT IT!

Out of pure desperation I bought the Nosefrida. I felt like the mom and baby on the front of the package were mocking me with a look of "We knew you'd be back." Now, I can honestly see why... This thing is AWESOME!!! If we look purely at results, the Nosefrida wins hands down compared to the competition. While its design is extremely simple, it is cleverly built in a way that prevents you from accidentally swallowing something from your baby's nose. It has a filter but in my experience (and I've had a lot at this point) the contents you remove from your child's nose very rarely make it that far up the tube anyhow.

The Nosefrida allows you to use enough suction to effectively unblock your child's nose quickly and safely. I was very hesitant at first as I didn't want to accidentally create so much suction in my son's nose that I'd pop a blood vessel or something. This was not the case at all. While my son generally doesn't want me bothering him with such things, I can tell that he's learned to know the sight of the Nosefrida means he'll be able to breath well again when its all done.

On top of all of this, the Nosefrida is very easy to clean. It seems to have a non-stick surface that allows a quick rinse with hot water to remove all of the tube's contents.

I don't at all think it will ever seem any less weird or disgusting to use the Nosefrida, but I otherwise have nothing but good things to say about it. BUY THIS!

I wasn't sure about this product even though friends had given it two thumbs up. I had tried 2 different bulb aspirators, but this worked way better!! I wash shocked about what it got out, and it didn't have to go far up the nose. I do wish that the sponge was reusable, and the tubing got a little stretched out without much use. With all of that said, I would for sure recommend this product to others!

My baby hates bulb aspirations and when a child has a cold, you're practically using the thing constantly. However, with this device, because it wasn't intrusive and didn't need to be stuck INTO the nose - only against it- she wasn't as combative about the process

My daughter had her first cold at 8 months old and couldn't breathe because of her congestion. We immediately bought the snot sucker. Emma unfortunately hated it most times, but it definitely seemed to help her. Cleaning is easy and easy to use if your child cooperates. I didn't give 5 stars because if your child doesn't like it it's a little challenging and you have to buy many filters because when Emma was sick we were using the snot sucker several times a day.
