Now that Alex can hold objects, he loves to shake this toy and hear the rattles, and absolutely loves the crinkles so he is always pinching it. Since he is teething, he chews on it. This inchworm is the greatest toy. He even sleeps with it. I think it is his best friend.

I bought this item based on all the great reviews everyone else gave it on this site. I have a 4 month old little girl, but have to say that she's not too interested in this toy just yet.

First of all its as big as she is - its two feet long! I thought it was going to be a bit smaller, something that she could hold, but its too big for her to get a hold of. She wants to put everything in her mouth right now and is unable to do that with this toy.

Second - shes not able to push the head to make the music play. The toy has two rattles in it and a squeak, which even I have a hard time to press and make squeak. The crinkle noise gets her attention, but there is not much for her to do with this thing.

I'm sure in time she will come to like this toy, but I think that it is too big for a four month old to enjoy. Its mainly just a stuffed animal...

I should return this, as it does not make music and shows no place to add batteries or anything to make it work. Very disappointing, but my granddaughter loves the Baby Einstein's Caterpillar in the DVDs so I gave it to her and the packaging was recycled before I found out it doesn't work. Disappointing.

I was looking to do a little early Christmas shopping and this looked like a cute little toy to begin buying for our newest grandchild due in the fall.
After receiving it I was very pleased with the size, color and play options of this toy. I hope it keeps her entertained for many months

At 13 weeks, I took out "inchy" for our son to use and he loves it! He likes that each section makes a different sound or has a different texture. It holds his attention and he likes to grasp both the body and the "legs" of this toy.

My baby really likes this toy.. I've it for a month and the music stills works it so soft that she sleeps with. I like that every section of the worm it has a different sounds from rattle to squeaks. My baby likes is so much that she sleeps with it. Another feature I like is I washed it in the washer and the sounds still work. But don't put it in the dryer I let mine air dry..

my daughter is almost 3 months old and absolutely loves this toy. its still too big for her to pick up but she loves touching the different textures and we rattle it for her and squeak it for her. she gets so thrilled. we can put it on the floor facing her while she is on her belly and she stares and laughs at it. this is definitely going to be a favorite once she gets a little older i think.

This is definitely a must for babies who are starting to do tummy time. The colors and sounds are beautiful. We bought this together with the talking farm and other toys appropriate for 6-9 mos and older, so this toy gets passed over. It's too big for our daughter to put in her mouth and too small to measure her height!
