I've had this stroller for 13 months now and I think it's pretty darn good. The detachable seat was so great to use when my daughter was a newborn because it can fully recline with a LARGE canopy and thus takes the shape of a bassinet. I also love that my peg perego car seat can snap into the frame of the stroller. It's just been really convenient over all. The fact that I can snap in the car seat and the full sized seat in either direction, facing me or facing out, is pretty great. 13 months ago hardly any strollers had this feature, which is why I was sold on the Switch. The only problems I have had so far were a squeaky wheel (fixed with some WD-40) and the cup holder broke. The cup holder is this detachable plastic thing that always snags on things as we stroll by, and eventually it got ripped off and broke. The snack tray rocks, the adjustable foot rest rocks, the HUGE HUGE canopy rocks (as does the fact that you can fully detach it so that it can rotate a full 90 degrees to shade the baby no matter the angle of the sun). I do think the stroller was a bit too expensive, but when you factor in the price of a frame stroller, which you get with this one as an added perk, it comes out pretty even. I would definitely recommend this stroller. It's not too light or easy to travel with, but it's sturdy. Most of my friends are on to their second and third strollers by now, but I am still using this one because it's in great shape.

I had a Peg Perego stroller for my first child and used it till I couldn't use it any more. It was great, so I got one for my second child. Very disappointed. The seat is hard and uncomfortable, I had to get padding to comfort baby. It is very wobbly and does NOT offer a smooth ride. The steering is difficult and hard to maneuver. The reason I bought it was that I liked the coach part that was able to face the baby toward or away from you. The basket is essentially useless and the cup holder is too shallow to hold a cup of coffee safely. Please do not make this purchase.

Comments about Peg-Pérego Peg Perego Pliko Switch Stroller - Java:

My son is 2 now, and we absolutely love this stroller and carseat. It's very high-quality and worth the price. We've used it on a number of trips and never had any problems. The wheels turn smooth, love the switch part of seeing the baby and allowing my toddler to face outward. I would recommend this carseat/ stroller.

Comments about Peg-Pérego Peg Perego Pliko Switch Stroller - Java:

I am a first time mom and wanted the best stroller for my daughter. This is honestly THE WORST STROLLER THAT HAS EVER BEEN CREATED! Its hard to maneuver, the wheels lock and dont go straight. They take sudden sharp turns without even turning it at all. I am constantly bumping into things because of it. It is very wobbly and not at all sturdy. The wheels creek and squeak. It is too bulky for no reason at all. My brother and his wife bought me the stoller for my baby shower, and once they used it told me that I picked the worst stroller ever. My mother then bought me the babies r us jogging stroller for $300 cheaper and it is MUCH BETTER! The only cool thing about this stroller is the detachable seat and the colors. Other than that it [*] STINKS!!!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT GET THIS STOLLER IT IS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!! I even tried to sell the stroller but once people try it, they dont like it and dont want to buy it. I will NEVER recommend this stroller even to my worst enemy!!!

For the price of this stroller the quality is terrible!!!! Very flimsy...wheel squeak and handles jiggle....I got this stroller as a gift for daughter and thought is was very convenient because you can place the seat facing you or away from you and it was a bonus that it acted as a snap and go with my peg perego car seat.....I was very disappointed...I felt that the stroller was not safe because it was not sturdy! I ended up buying the Aprica stroller for more then HALF the price and got more use out of it....the only part of this stroller I ever used was the snap and go part. What a waste!!!

Extremely easy to use. I love that the seat lays all the way down and is easy to switch which way it is facing. I Love how easy it is to attach the infant seat. It moves around effortlessly and is easy to steer. I will buy the double one just like this when i have another child.

PROS: you can easily attach the car seat. Folding is pretty easy
CONS: wheels get broken really easily and become squeeky like everyone else said. it doesn't move with one hand, very hard to control. we've used it for 1 year now, and we regret paying so much money for a stroller that has such horrible steering! it worked great in the beginning, but the wheels go out pretty quickly.

Comments about Peg-Pérego Peg Perego Pliko Switch Stroller - Java:

I LOVE this stroller. I have the peg-perego duette for my newborn and toddler but there are times when I only have my newborn so I purchased this one. I have the two strollers and car seat in java, the bottom basket is black. I love the fact that I can just snap the car seat in and ready to go! The seat is great because it can be used as a bassinet. It can fold with the seat on, it does not have to be removed like the duette. It is VERY lightweight, I am 120lbs and fling it around with no problem. EXTREMELY easy to steer, I have read numerous reviews that state steering is difficult on many different sites but they must have the stoppers on the front wheels because I steer with one hand with EASE and my family members that have pushed the stroller agree that its easy to steer. The only problem I see with this stroller is the foot steps at the back that are supposed to hold a toddler, they are sturdy enough but very small and the toddler would be in the way of steering, I do use them to go over a sidewalk or step if I need to and thats great. Also the cup holder is only good for a water bottle, nothing else.

I have searched for a stroller that would have the option that the child would be facing you but i didnt like the ones that have the handle flip. I was also looking for the stroller that the seat reclines all the way down. This Peg Perego Pliko Swich has it all that i was looking for. it has easy clean material. After a few months since i bought it the wheels started to make noise and it got hard to steer the stroller cause they would get stuck but a bit of wd-40 fixed it pretty good. I would recomend this stroller for everyone!
