This is hands down one of the best pumps to buy. I bought this same pump almost 5 years ago with my first, sold my first pump so I didn't have it laying around. And now I just bought my second one for our second child. I pumped several times throughout the day due to work and it being more convenient than nursing in public. I definitely produced more milk because of this pump, hence why I bought the same one, again!

I pumped exclusively with my first child and am doing the same with my second. I pumped for a year with my first, 4-8 times a day. My infant is 6 weeks old and I use my pump 7-8 times a day now. It still works and I have used it ALOT. Great product. My only negative is that it is not hands free, but I just didn't think of that when I purchased it because at that time I only planned to use it at work (but daughter wouldn't latch, so used it more).

The pump bag is giant and heavy even though the actual pump is fairly small; most of it is just wasted space. The parts were impossible to clean properly. The valve pieces are easily damaged and I had to replace them about once a week in order to maintain suction. I pumped exclusively and this pump could not keep up. Condensation built up in the tubing and did not have time to dry out between pumpings so it got moldy. After a few weeks the motor started making a whining sound so I stopped using it as frequently and used a rented hospital pump while at home; I used the medela only when I had to pump away from home a few times a week. On the plus side- it has separate speed and suction controls and fits standard bottles.

I exclusively breast feed, and since I am a mother of 4 I am always on the run, so I find my self pumping a lot. This, product has saved my life. I absolutely love it. Its comfortable, easy to take anywhere and all you need is a few AA batteries. For my first born I had bought another pump, and it didnt work 1/2 as good as this one. I have been using this product for years now, and its worth every penny! I highly recommended it. The only bad thing I can find ( & thats looking really hard) is that it is a little loud but nothing that will wake up the baby or husband. I pump 2x in the middle of the night, right next to my husband and baby and they sleep right through it.

I am a first time mom who have faced demand supply . During the 1-2 weeks my baby always used to be hungry even after breastfeeding for 30 min and used feel satisfied after drinking few oz of formula. Initially I thought I am not producing enough but was very much interested in breastfeeding. Lactation consultant told me that my baby has poor suction which is leading to low milk supply and suggested that I should use a breast pump. I immediately bought medela pump in style advance and started using it. I have been using this since a month and my milk supply started increasing and now I am able to give more of breast milk than formula. I don't feel the pain/pressure even at highest setting which is the best thing I find in this product. Very happy with this product.

it is convenient and easy to carry with you. Looks like a tote and does not scream breast pump. You can do just one breast, one breast at a time, or both breast together. The motor is a little loud but does not wake my baby. The breast pump is great, but I wish it was cheaper.

Due to some baby medical issues, I've had to pump from day one to make sure the baby gets my milk. This pump is awesome, double feature makes it easier and quicker in the busy life of the mother of a newborn. Nice on the go tote is handy and makes it easy to transport and pump anywhere I go.

I am a mother of four children and I work 50 hrs a week and use this pump in an orange grove. This is the frst child I have successfully been able to breast feed beyond the first month, we are now in month 6. Most days in the grove its just me a whole lot of trees and my trusty Gator (an upscale 4 wheeler). Previous to buying this pump I was making do with a manual pump and it was taking forever and very uncomfortable. I purchased this pump during a sale and even then cringed at the price but today I am thankful I did buy it. This pump is easy to set up, use, clean, and store when done. As a woman working in a field that is predominantly male,I love that it is very discreet. I am in love with the "Let Down" cycle and how efficient it makes pumping.I have no issues at all using the vehicle plug for powering my pump and the battery opperated power supply is perfect for emergencies where a vehicle port or wall outlet is not avalible. I am able to store all the pieces the pump came with, all three power supply options (car plug, wall plug, battery plug), milk storage bags, and labeling pens with still plenty of room to spare. I use this pump under what can only be described as rugged conditions and it works wonderfully, I highly recomend it.

Easy to use and tote around. I use it at home and work every day. The only thing I dont like are the membranes because they can rip sometimes.
