Missing audible chime when turning pages

My almost 3yo twins love their V.Reader and we own almost every cartridge (11 so far). The Disney Cars game has proven to be very disappointing. The audible chime that you normally hear after you hit the page turning button is absent. In addition to the missing indicator sound, there is a clear hesitation after the page turn button is successfully pressed.

The page turn hesitation combined with the missing chime you normally hear when turning a page prompts my kids to press the page turning button muliple times unnecessarily. Since they can't hear the sound and the page is not turning immediately, they continually press the page turning button and end up skipping pages. Maybe my cartridge is defective or this one was not created/tested by the original development team...? All of my other cartridges have the indicator sound...

This game doesn't work. I read previous reviews that said the same thing but thought they had just received an bad product. No, this is the most non user friendly piece of software. My little girl is able to play one game. I've even tried to play the others...they don't work.

I was a little mad when my husband bought this for our son when he turned 3 years old because it did not have a charger but seeing the results of this product I'm happy. He learned how to turn off his toy when he is not playing with it and learned a lot from the games. So far he's played Toy story 3 and mickey mouse clubhouse games. Great Product!

I bought this for my 6 yo grandson for Christmas. It had no sound. It took multiple phone calls to resolve the issue. Vtech sent me another one and that one was a defect too. The screen that flips up to access the keyboard doesn't stay up.. Now they are sending me another one but it still doesn't make up for the defective product. I DO Not Recommend Mobigo.
