The hospital my first son was born at gave us one of these and he LOVED it, practically the only paci he would ever take, so naturally when #2 was born I had to get a couple for him too! They are GREAT! And don't cover their noses like the round ones that are similar! I also love that they are one solid piece and have no hard plastic.

I bought this paci thinking that it would be soft, just like the others I had gotten for my baby in the past. As soon as I put this paci on my baby's mouth (at 7 month old) he spit it out, I tried to give it to him again, but he did not take it! Now they are just collecting dust in my house :(

Not the real deal, which is made by Hawaii Medical. Real Gumdrops were a God send when DD was in the NICU. These are not the same lightweight material and does not come in differnt sizes.

My daughter received the original Gumdrop from Hawaii Medical when she was born. When my dog stole her pacifier and I had to buy a new one, I mistakenly bought one from a local store that said 'Gumdrop' and I didn't read that it was made by First Years, when I took it out of the package I was thoroughly disappointed. The first years Gumdrop is a knock off of the real Gumdrop by Hawaii medical. The texture is worse and works better as a lint collector than a pacifier. My daughter hated the first years brand and couldn't keep it in her mouth because it's too slippery and kept popping out, not the case with the original. Buy the original online, it's worth it for your most precious gift...your little one.

Swedish hospital gave us one of these when our son was born. When we got home we had already purchased some other brands, but he spits them all out. He will only take his gumdrop binky. It must be the design? It's soft, no hard plastic parts rub against his face. Very simple nipple, nice natural feel, and small, doesn't cover or touch his nose (he is 21 days as I write this). All I know is that infants have a mind of their own, and he votes for this one with his mouth.

My 9mth old loves this paci!! And will not take any other paci but this one!! He was in the NICU for the first 8 wks, and this is the kind they gave him. Thanks for carrying them!!

My son is a breastfed baby so we started out with no pacifier at all. Soon after he was born we found out he had a bad case of jaundice so he spent his days and nights under the uv lights. Once we finally came home we still had to keep him on a light kit. Since he had to stay under the lights as much as possible I couldn't hold him to comfort him. Luckily someone had given us this pacifier at a baby shower. We gave it to him and he settled right down. I was worried about messing up his latch but with this pacifier it isn't a problem!
I am so thrilled that there is a pacifier with a natural nipple shape. It was great comfort to my little one and to me. He will only take these pacifiers now! We have tried others and he gags and spits them out. I am actually going tomorrow to buy some more and to get some for my friend who is in labor as I type this review

We loved our gumdrop, it cost us over 6.00 to order one from another website! When we lost ours we tried several brands so the baby could have a binky while we waited for a replacement. We ended up going with another brand that was easily available but it would have been amazing if these were carried in stores when my daughter lost hers!
