Bought for my 9mth old son. Pros: Sturdy seat. Head piece is really safe. Very easy to install and remove!!! Cant stress enough how easy! Cons/annoyances: Wouldn't recommend for young babies as the seat sets pretty up and down without much recline. Wish it had the option to recline back just a little when in rear facing mode. Guide to know if seat is in right position/level has no actual system, just a arrow to look at and "judge" if its parallel to your seat. Overall happy with the seat.

We just bought this car seat for our 8 month old. It took us a total of 2 minutes to install. It has these retractable latch hooks that retracts back instantly. You can here it click and lock. Really rare and so nice! It also is cushioned on the bottom and the sides so its soft and comfortable which our baby will be able to go for long trips to the cabin. So happy already with it! The head rest also adjusts high so we will be able to use it for a long time. Great purchase!

When the carseat I bought arrived at our home - the box was really beat up with a hole in side. Don't know if UPS did it or it happened in the warehouse. Did take some pictures in case when gift is given to my niece she can return the carseat if there is any damage to it.

i love this car seat. i spent weeks comparing car seats online. this was in my top three and when i actually took my son to the store to test them out, this car seat was the best by far. it's so comfortable and easy to install! the safety rating just tops it off.

i had a hard time choosing between this and the next fit by chicco. but, when i asked an associate to take one down they had hidden away on a top shelf (still on preorder), and opened it, the evenflo was still better quality. not to mention the evenflo will last longer (up to 100lbs) and cost you less!

Was easy to order exactly what the new mom wanted. The bonus was it was shipped right to the new moms house and came with a free gift which was shipped to my house. Couldn't get any easier than that.

I've always been a Graco car seat fan, but I was leaning towards buying a Britax Boulevard for our 16-month old, based on their reputation for safety and overall great consumer ratings. As it turns out, while checking out car seats in our local BRU, I found myself surprisingly impressed with this Evenflo seat and decided to purchase it.

WHAT I LIKE: The padding seemed superior to all of the other car seats in the store, and there's no arguing that the easy adjust harness is exactly that. The head rest also was simple to adjust. I was able to fasten and unfasten the straps easily, and I mention that because I suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. I'm a little neurotic about making sure I get a super tight installation, and I was able to achieve that with this car seat in less than 60 seconds (rear-facing), though I have 10 years of car seat experience. The LATCH attachments are the easiest I've ever used. They're pretty much awesome. The "push" feature that enables the LATCH belt to tighten automatically works well, but it took more than a simple push. It was exercise, but it was quick. The seat design includes a place at the hips to rest the straps out of the way for easy in and out. Also, the placement of the adjuster for loosening and tightening the straps is well-placed for rear-facing installation. When we were testing this seat, my average-size 10-year-old sat in it, just for giggles. He was way too tall for the seat, of course, but the fact that he could sit comfortably in it (and still behind the crotch belt) demonstrated that this seat offers great room for growth. The zone of protection is stellar. I feel like my son is well protected and safe in this seat. Finally, the seat cover is easily removable and washes really well. Someone commented that the fabric holds smells even after washing, but I didn't find that to be the case at all.

WHAT I'M NOT SO HAPPY ABOUT: The head wings, while a valued safety feature, are a little difficult to maneuver when placing our son in and taking him out of this seat (in rear-facing position). I don't expect that to be an issue once we face the seat forward. The stationary arrow that is supposed to act as a level indicator for rear-facing installation has to be a cost-savings design choice; it's ridiculous and causes the user to make a "good enough" determination. I much prefer Graco's ball level indicator. The biggest flaw, in my opinion, is that the straps, while super easy to adjust, are not removable for cleaning. This posed a bit of a problem recently when our son got a stomach bug and got sick in his seat. After stripping down the seat, I literally had to balance the seat upside-down over our kitchen sink, with the base on the counter and the head rest balanced on my head so I could scrub the straps and rinse them with the sink sprayer. What a sight. (I'm sure my husband would have helped, but he was out of town.) I'm hoping this won't be a common occurrence, because other than this inconvenience, I really do like the seat.

For us, the positives outweigh the negatives.

OTHER COMMENTS: We have a Toyota Sienna with roomy captain's chairs in the middle row, and while there is plenty of space between the back of this car seat (in rear-facing position) and the back of the driver's seat in our van, I can't speak to how well this seat fits in a smaller vehicle. Also, this seat makes it super easy to switch back and forth between a rear-facing toddler and a newborn, if you find yourself needing that feature.

Have had this carseat for two years now. Recently totaled my car and my almost 3 year old daughter was safe and sound. No injuries at all and no complaints of pain. I got a letter from Evenflo for my insurance company to replace it since the accident and will be buying another one ASAP. I'm about 5 foot so this seat is a bit bulky and heavy to switch cars for me, but it's not the worst in the world. I never have had a problem with it rattling, although I do keep it latched in, including the tether at the top, when my daugher is not with me so maybe that's why.

My daughter has been in this carseat since she was 4 1/2 months old and has loved it. She is currently 13 1/2 months old and still loves it. It is comfortable for her and offers her the protection I desired for her. I have actually recommended this carseat in the store and the parents purchased it! And I would definitely recommend it again. Ultimately, I feel confident that my child is safe in this carseat and that is what is most important - her safety.

We have used this seat for our daughter since she was 7 months. She loves it. We switch it between two cars. If you read a review that mentions difficulty installing they simply did not read the instruction manual. I can switch this seat between cars with in 3 minutes. Timed myself multiple times. Our daughter still falls asleep in everytime she is in it. We are about to buy a second for our 7 month old son. I would recommend this seat to everyone. Also, don't skim the instruction manually. Read through it. If you do you will see the install is simple and switching it from rear to forward is simple as well. Good luck
