This teether is my son's favorite. He is 5 months old today, but has loved it since 3.5 months old. It's such an easy teether to grasp with his fist. It helps him fall asleep also. He sings to it and sort of bats himself on the nose and mouth with it in a sleepy way, haha. He loves chewing on it...and I just LOVE it! A little advice, clean often...and inspect the little rubber bristle nubs for any lint at each washing.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

While I purchased this at 4 months old to introduce a toothbrush.... He loved at still at 9 months as a teether. The soft nubs all over work great, and even allow a sucking action. I have 3 of these as back up. This was a hidden gem. I was very comfortable leaving this with him in the crib as the shape is sooooo safe. I get this for all my friends and they rave. So much better than the raspberry hyped up teether ( which I did not feel safe giving him without my supervision).

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Love the design and how it is made and the concept behind it. However, it is actually quite big to fit in my 4 month's mouth and he is big boy more along the lines of 6/7 month old size wise. He gets frustrated trying to bite on it. Maybe when he's a bit bigger.
