      We received these washcloths for our baby shower over 2 years ago. They've held up through innumerable baths and washes, with no fraying or change in texture.

      That said, I prefer using these on newborn/young babies as the texture is super soft and they hold a very small amount of water.

      For toddlers, who need a more vigorous scrub down, these just don't do the job.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
