      My son received this as a birthday present for his first birthday and he LOVED it. He liked to make his own "towers" out of the blocks and liked to use "the gates" (what he called the fences) to keep the animals from coming in and out of the zoo tunnel. Now that he's 2 1/2yrs old, he is still enjoying the set and really likes taking the zoo keeper for a ride in the car.

                    Bought the Duplo Zoo for my grandson who loves the zoo and loves building with Duplos. He was soooooo excited when he received this gift and plays with this quite often. Duplos are great for development of motor skills and using your imagination. This maybe difficult for young first time users, but should be able to put pieces together over time, also teaches patience.
