      We used this infant seat from the moment we brought our daughter home. The infant insert is great for when she was tiny, plus, its washable for those "uh-oh" moments. Now that she's 7 mos we took the insert out, and she still loves to sit in it. Its great for travel, b/c it folds up nicely. The color is not too babyish and blends with the rest of the house. The 8 songs get a little boring after a while, but there is an ipod hook up. My only wish was that it had some sort of automatic motion like vibration or rock...but then again..it is not a replacement for the conventional swing...we had to get one of those too.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
