I received this as a shower gift, so I am not SURE of where it was purchased, but my blanket had no smell to it at all. I really love the look and feel of this blanket, it's average size, and it doesn't stain too easily even though it is mostly white. It's a very warm blanket, better to use on chillier days. The quality isn't as high as I would expect for this brand, especially since its only been washed a handful of times, and only hung to dry. The border has begun to unravel where it's attached to the blanket, not a just coming unstitched, which could be much more easily fixed, which is a bummer because we have only had this for eight months. We still get our use out of it though, over all its been a nice blanket to take along.

Ok I read all the reviews before I bought this and everyone said it stinks and you cant get it out well mine did not stink! I washed it and it smelled like baby saop!

I bought this in store without looking at reviews online first and I am very upset with myself. This was a total waste of money! Like previous reviews state it has this horrible smell that you can NOT get rid of no matter how much you wash it. I hand washed, machine washed, and tried all types of different cleaners etc. There is NO getting the smell out. It also fell apart after the second washing. I was so disappointe because it is such a beautiful blanket. I can't take it back because unfortunatly I threw away the original package and its receipt. I threw it in the trash without it ever being used.

So I went to the babies r us to buy this adorable blanket along with the other accessories but b4 I did I read all the comments n they were all right... Its a bad chemical smell... Other wise I would have bought it.... Very cute but disappointing..

Got this blanket at my baby shower because I registered for the entire set. I was so happy when I received it because it was so cute......until I smelled it. Awful smell. Very disappointed. Washed it 5 TIMES!!! Smell still didn't come out. Returning it to the store to find something else. :'(

I bought this blanket in store because I have the rest of the set and love it. However just this blanket (and all the others like it at the store, yes I smelled most of them) had a horrible chemecial smell which gave me a headache quick. We asked before we left the store if we washed it and the smell didnt come out if we could return it and they said yes. Even the store associates were surprised at the smell. I dont know if it was just that batch, but the awful odor did not come out in the wash, it was better but still noticable. I wouldent want my baby to breathe that in her nursery. Its a shame because it is a beautiful addition to the rest of the set. Returned without an issue from Babies R Us!
