I bought this pack and play today and unfortunately am bringing it straight back to the store. The mattress pad is not machine washable- the boards do not remove from the fabric part. This is just unacceptable given a baby will have many unavoidable diaper leaks and spit ups. Not to mention you won't be able to wash all of the chemicals out of the fabric before laying baby down on it. I am very disappointed!

If you are buying a playpen with intention of taking it everywhere you go- DO NOT GET THIS ONE! It's a great playpen while it's up, but the effort needed to put it up and take it own simply makes it not worth buying. I would have returned it if it were up to me, but my wife wanted to keep it anyways.

We bought this play yard to primarily use on our first floor in the family room while our daughter was a newborn to change her diaper and store items. It was a similar color scheme to our room and fit and looked great. It was a pretty stationary item until she was too big to use the diaper changing function (a few months old). In that time we only took it down 3 times to travel. It wasnt easy to take down and put up.

We eventually then only used it when we traveled, which was 8 times. After that the pins in the legs bent so you could no longer pop it open (one of the buttons was stuck so you can no longer collapse it. Bottom line is it did not hold up after taking it down and putting it up only 10 times.

We did not get the replacement plan at Babies R US so they would not help us (even though the brand is a Babies R Us Brand and it is an item that they still carry). The manufacturer s not a help either.

At this point the play yard is garbage and since baby #2 is on the way it looks like we will be investing in a new one but it certainly will not be a Safety First Brand.

I gave this one star because I cant give it zero. This broke the very FIRST TIME my husband and I folded it up and tried to open again at my parent's house. Prior to that we had it open for two months straight so the baby would have somewhere to nap on the first floor of our home instead of going up and down stairs for naps. One of the sides was stuck open and we couldnt fix it. Babies R Us was not willing to help because the protection plan was not purchased when this was purchased for my baby shower. They gave me the 800 number to call safety 1st. It was nearly impossible to get in touch with a real person. When I finally did they would do nothing for me. Eventually I bought another brand when we needed a new playard for travel. This is not worth the money! Even before it broke I was unhappy with the thin padding of the mattress and the changing table was not stable or level. It always tilted to one side whether my daughter was on it or not. She was never comfortable in this thing. Shop around for something more comfortable that wont break. And try to get the protection plan otherwise Babies R Us will be useless in helping you.

My newborn's poo soaked right through the fabric and into the padding. There is no way to clean it because: 1-There are metal bars sewn into the fabric, 2-The backing behind the padding is made out of hardboard (pegboard w/o holes) which swells & falls apart when wet, 3-The hamper comes off, but the 3 compartment organizer does not & each compartment has the same backing

I bought this for my 9 month old grandson who is at my home 15 days of the month. I thought it was great because of the storage option and had the changing table as well. It's a great option for small spaces which is the case with me. The fabric cleans really well and the netting is hold up well so far. The biggest downside is the mat itself. It is not cushioned enough and too hard. You can almost feel the frame through the mat. I'm looking at supplementing the mat now, not just for comfort but for safety. I feel that its just too hard for an active 9 month old who is still teetering over.

We live in a 2 level townhouse, and we wanted something the baby could sleep in downstairs during the day. I'm glad we went with the pegasus. I love the storage space, and the diaper changer is very study. Assembly was easy. My hubby put it together in about 15-20 minutes. We've never travelled with it, so can't comment on how easy it is to travel with. My 8 month old, who is now 21lbS still sleeps in it durning the day. The limit for the basinet is 15lbs, so when she reached that, we lowered the mattress to the floor level, and she sleeps in it fine. We got a carters well padded matress cover to cushion the matress, and it works great. I love the chocolate color cause it works well with our furniture. Also I like that it's unisex cause we plan to use it for our next baby. The mobile is a little boring, but my girl doesn't seem to care much. It's not the most visually stimulating playpen, but I have no regrets with this one.

I use my play yard at our 2nd home in the living room as a place where my twins could nap and change them so I don't have to keep going upstairs. The changer is sturdy considering the babies are now 10 months old and i still use it. They loved napping in it as well. I used an extra mattress to make it more comfortable. So I put the fitted sheet over the mattress and pad it came with. Overall I was very happy.

Good quality with lots of good toys and bassinet.We use the bassinet all the time.Baby love mobile.The hamper and changing table are nice if the playyard stays in one spot but to move it its a little difficult so we leave it off. I would buy this again if i had to do it again.

This was only used a handful of times before it broke. The side buttons are stuck in an open position and one end is stuck in the closed position. Tech support was unable to help. Had to replace with a different brand.
