WONDERFUL!!!!

I tried so many sippy cups and my son never succeeded unless they were similar to bottles. Finally I tried this cup and he took to it right away. I read the previous negative review and personally I'm surprised. My son had major feeding issues due to his heart problems, and he had no trouble at all with this cup even with his low muscle tone. He drinks well from it, no leaks, it doesn't take him an hour to finish his drink. I've thrown it in a purse without any problems. It's the best transitional cup, his speech therapist loved it. Super easy to clean no weird valves etc..

Super cute! Looks like a grown up tumbler (whole idea). However, I thought the same thing you are probably thinking if you are reading this. I can get rid of my sippies and my kids can use Big People cups.
Well, that would be fine, if it worked. I bought two sizes, 7oz and 12oz (and returned them within the first week). 7oz is 9+months recommended. My 1 year old thought I was teasing him the whole time he tried to use it. He absolutely couldn't get his drink out. It was so frustrating to him he just kept pushing it away when I offered it the third and fourth time. The only way I could get anything out for him was to unscrew the top, which defeats the purpose. My three year old would use it for about five minutes, and she would be over how SLOW it dispenses liquid. I used it to see how it worked, and it would literally probably take your child an hour to finish the 7oz, that's how slow it comes out when you use it. It's sad, I really was wanting to like these, but it's honestly not a product I can say I am happy I purchased. Sassy needs to work a little more on the design, and then maybe it would be worth purchasing. ALSO, it's not supposed to leak, and it won't if it stays upright, but I came into the kitchen to find one on the floor with a puddle by it. Can't drink from it, but it will leak, don't understand that one??

      My daughter has been using this cup since she was 12 months old and loves it.Just like drinking from a regular cup without the mess. Good way to get toddlers ready to drink from open cup. When she has dropped it on the floor there is very little that spills out. Most other sippy cups flood the floor when droped. Also the lid attaches to the inside of cup so she hasn't figured out yet how to get the lid off. That's a real plus!

      Im a 29 yr old with a bachelors degree and can't figure out how to drink from this cup Smh!!!!!!! Not intuitive at all... I watched the video and read reviews to try to learn how to use this thing... Are you supposed to s**k (not allowed to use full word on review) on the rim of the cup??? On the plus side it is really easy to clean and the colors are great.

      These cups are by far the best cups on the market today! I am surprised to see the bad reviews here for all the different sizes. I have a 1 yr old who would rather drink from this cup then her own bottle!!! My boys love it too. All the other cups leak these surprisingly don't. LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

      I bought this cup for my almost 3 year old to help him learn to not take such big glups from cups and I thought this would be a good transitional cup. I like it, but it's not the best I've bought. He was able to figure out how to "drink" out of it once I demonstrated it for him, but I think a younger child may have trouble. Also it leaks if left on its side or upside down for too long... not from the drinking edge but from two tiny spots I would assume are there to release air pressure from in the cup itself. So keep in mind it is NOT a leak-proof cup! Bottom line not the best... Not the worst.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        I was surprised to find a measly two-star rating for the smaller version of this cup as my son loves it! When I first tried it myself, I wasn't sure where to sip but it wasn't hard at all. My 2-yo took to it straight away and still insists on helping with putting the lid back on!

        What I love about this product is that it really does NOT leak! I put the cup in my large purse and my son sometimes carries his water to bed and it NEVER leaks! It's also one of the few cups that will fit into the cup holder of our stroller.

        Just be persistent and patient :).

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

                  I bought these (on sale) just to try. My son is one and usually only likes the"take and toss" sippy cups but will drink out of a regular cup with adult assistance. He definitely prefers the regular cup but it's a fight because he wants to do it himself. These sassy grow up cups are perfect. All you do is sip just like a regular cup. He figured it out right away and he loves it. I will definitely be buying more.

                    Bought this cup today and seriously my son drank the whole thing in a few minutes. I have probably bought every type of sippy cups on the market and these are in the top 2! I don't understand why people are having problems with this cup...wierd! If a 3 year old can do it so can you!!!! I'll buy more of these!
