My wife and I didn't originally want to give our son a pacifier for at least the first month or so. We had heard about babies having breast feeding issues if you gave them one too early. Well a lot of things didn't go quite as planned in the hospital, and baby having a pacifier was one of them. Now a month old, he has no problems with breast feeding, and I use the pacifier a lot when I think he is just being gassy instead of hungry. They work great. Still using the ones from the hospital, but looking to pick up a few more soon since out of all the pacifiers we were given, these are the only ones he likes. Besides being soft, there is no worry about him getting hurt in any way with it. Anyway, if your looking for something along these lines, just go with this one in whatever color you want. If this is going to be a gift, buy them a couple, and tell them to try to get as many as they can from the hospital while they are there lol….

Like most new moms, I did not want to give my baby a pocifier because I was afraid of having a toddler with a pacifier in his mouth! However, the nurses @ the hospital gave this one to him and it calms him down pretty well. My son is now 10 weeks old and likes to moves his hands around a lot. The only reason why I did not give this 5 stars is because since it's made entirely of some sort of rubber, every single time my son's hand/arm rubs by his face it pulls the pacifier right out of his mouth and then rubs against his face as he's trying to get it back in. So if he's sleeping, it wakes him right up so I have to be next to him to either put it back in when it gets tugged out or just get it far away from his face as soon as he's done with it. Other than that, it is a great product. I tried giving him the tommee tippee pacifier since that one seemed like it would be more comfortable for him and since we got it as a baby shower gift but he did not like it at all so I went back to this one.

I did not want my son to have a pacifier, but the nurses in the hospital gave it to him and they knew what they were doing!!! My son had issues with gas so he was cranky and uncomfortable a lot, but this hit the spot whenever her was inconsolable...seeing as he was breastfed he weened himself by the time he was 4 months old, but never had any trouble going from breat to soothie. Next baby will defintely use it as well and I give them in every baby shower I have attended since I've had my son! The only con is that you have to wash it VERY often bc of the material it's made out of it attracts fuzz, but you should be washing a pacifier often so it's not really a problem at all.

These are the same ones we got from the hospital except these are a pretty light blue color. These are the only ones my son likes and the nurse at the hospital said to only use this kind no matter what anyone says so that's what we are doing. My son is 7 months now and just getting his first tooth so I bought the harder version of these too but he didn't like them as well. I just watch him with it and make sure he's sucking and not chewing and they seem safe for him still. He's still breastfeeding and never had any confusion with these.
