my 5 month old daughter has reflux, she kept on spitting up her formula, i tried all the bottles n none of them worked for her, until a friend told me about these, i went into babies r us today n bought a pack of dr brown bottles n im surprised that she loved the bottle and hasnt spit up her milk, im definitley gonna stay with dr brown.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We bought the Dr Brown standard bottle set of 3 bottles. The level 1 nipples that came with it did not work for our son, who was not a premie. He started choking with these. We ended up buying premie nipples and they worked very well. I guess we will use these after he is a bit older.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I've been a mother of a premie twice now, and both times i've relied on these nipples and the dr brown bottles to help give my little ones the nutrition they need.

They are the closest I've found to mimicking the breast. Definitely recommend.

I like the fact that I can use these nipples in any cheap bottles such as gerber and parents choice bottles, but unfortunately my baby didn't like these small nipples, i guess because it was too slow for her and it collapses so she falls asleep before she's half way in finishing her bottle . She prefers the avent nipples so I decided to just get rid of all the cheap bottles ...too bad because they are nice bottles that do not leak when you use dr.brown nipples and playtex nipples. Anyway I am sticking with the avent because that is what my baby likes but if she had no problem with the small nipples I would definitely still use this just probably get the level 2 instead of level 1 for her 1st month.
