The cereal nipples are great, they allow a mixture of formula, baby cereal and baby food flow through the nipple easily.

We use this with our baby with cleft lip/palate - it works great allowing my child to determine when milk comes through without needing to create suction. The Y does rip over time and we need to replace the nipples every 4 weeks or so. But even replacing that often it's much cheaper than specialty nipples.

These nipples are very "thin" and collapse very easy. Everytime my babies try to feed, they immediately and completely collapse. I have to continually rotate the bottle to try to keep the collapses at a minimum. Disappointing!

when my daughter was 1 month old the dr. discovered she aspirated when she was eating so she was put on thickened feeds. Regular nipples won't allow her to get the formula easily, but these allow her to get her milk without having to work hard at it. only thing i didn't like was (b/c it's a Y) after just a couple of weeks of use they start to tear and must be replaced. Other than that, they're just what the dr. ordered! Litteraly
