I really love the Trunki. It had some features I didn't know about like a couple secret compartments, but they are so tiny, I'm not sure what a kid could stow in them. I'm very happy that it has "locks" with plastic keys so that it doesn't pop open while running through the airport. We haven't taken it on a trip yet, but I think it'll work perfect for my 3 year old.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love this product! I spent hours reading the reviews of this product trying to decide whether or not to give it a chance--and I am so glad we did! The suitcase has two clasps, one on each side, so in my experience, it stayed closed. I tried itto out personally to make sure it would work when I needed it (I am roughly 150# and 5'7",) and the wheels clicked a bit, but it stayed closed! I had it as full as I could without forcing it closed. The clasps also "lock" with a "key" that is on the pull strap. I was even impressed with how much it comfortably held. I took the some other reviewers advice to skip the saddle, and I'm happy I did, it really isn't necessary. The handles really aren't that uncomfortable. It is kind of small for the suggested ages, but as I said, I rode it somewhat comfortably.. Overall: GREAT product!
