FYI, no gumballs are included in the box, you must buy them seperately. Very disappointed Toys R Us did not have any sugarless gumballs to purchase!

I ordered it online and when my grandson opened the gift he was very disappointed that gumballs did not come with it. This was nowhere mentioned in the product description, nor anywhere on the box. Packaged gumballs should be included.

We purchased two of these gumball machines for Christmas. The first one came with broken glass when we opened the box. A month later the second one broke. And, the whole glass bowls are not breaking. In both cases it was roughly a quarter size in the glass that broke off. They are made with the cheapest, thinnest glass you can use. If you buy it you will have to return it or have the manufacturer send you another one. Poor quality.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I got this to help my two boys save money and we love it. They get coins for doing chores and use them to buy gumballs. They are also learning that if they don't have any money they don't get a gumball.
It could use a option for quarters only though or at least to not accept pennies.

I was very impressed with this product. The quality was really there. I have purchased candy machines before and half of the machine was plastic. Not this one. It was metal and glass plus it holds a lot of gum so you do not have to refill often. I would purchase again in the future.

It was great to receive and pick up from the toys-r-us store. We used this gumball machine to potty train our youngest son. It worked great! However, a spring came out through the gumball slot and we don't know where it goes but it still works so guess we'll keep it until we need it.
