We got this for my 18 month old daughter for Easter. She loved it. Although still not as much fun as mommy's slide phone this is a good substitute for her. When asked to get her phone she runs to it. I like that it's not as loud when it's shut since my daughter likes to put it up to her ear to pretend like she is talking on it.

Our 2 and 4 year old granddaughters use this and I was disappointed to find on my last visit to their house that while the phone still works, the display is not functioning properly making it difficult to read some of the letters/numbers therefore making it difficult at times to use the toy. There is no visible damage to the toy, so I am surprised it was not functioning properly. I would not recommend this toy for a child who might drop it as I suspect that is what happened to the display.

bought it so that my daughter would leave her dads phone alone, the ringing and talking gets her attention but it has no lights and it is too big so she dumps it after a minute, its a very good toy but without the lights......

I was expecting for $ money to be a usefull toy but i doesnt even have a back light is so hard to call my babys attention since no light or nothing y regred it to buy this but o well probably i will exchange this

Very great little thing to have especially with toddlers that have sticky fingers when it comes to electronics and remotes. Keeps my 16 month old from playing with my cell phone especially since I have a actual slider phone. Only really down fall is that when its in the closed position you are barely able to hear the volume. When slid open the volume is great. Has to be a design flaw, since I returned it thinking it was possibly defective and discovered that they all had the same issue.

My 2 year old son and I were drawn to this product simply beause it slides up just like mommy's & daddy's. I love to see him push the buttons and repeat the numbers and letters. Educational as well as Entertaining is always a plus with any toy!

I bought this for my 21 month old in the hopes that he would leave our phones alone. He enjoys pushing the buttons.
My main problem with the product is that is has 2 different, and very distinct, sound levels. When the phone is closed the sound is quite low and when it is slid open it is a lot louder. Given that the package was delivered, to a friend's house as I was out of the country, having been pre-opened and rattling around in the box I can only assume that this is the reason it was returned by the people who owned it before us. I am now back out of the country, and did not realize the problem at the time, so I am unable to return it.

i dont know why people are giving this a bad review. This phone taught my 18 month daughter her ABC's from a game on this.. It asks you to find a letter on the keypad, and plays music when you get it right. Now my daughter can identify any letters on a chart at only 18 months. I never write reviews for things, but I had to put in a good word fo this one.
yes, the volume is quieter when it is closed, I would think because my daughter will hold it to her ear to pretend talk. If it was as loud as it was open it would hurt her ear. Childrens hearing is better than adults and she can hear it just fine.
