Talk about a cone of fire...lol

This is probably the most unique and gimmicky of the 2011 SS line.

The "Tornado strike" uses both Nerf SS new clip system as well as an amusing spinning barrel + the trigerless pump to shoot system AND it comes with a removable extending stock that also fits the "Thunderstrike"!!
wew!

With that said, it performs pretty well, it doesn't quite fire a "double helix" of water as Nerf claims but a "cone" like stream of water.
At it's furthest range (around 15 to 18 ft) it probably has a 3 to 4 ft spread.
shoots pretty fast too!
And is smooth and easy to pump.

It also looks downright cool with it's Scifi MP5 looks and crazy revolving barrel.
Clips run dry pretty quick thought so extra clips are a must.

My only concern is how long will the spinning barrel's ratchet system hold up.

This is the gun that all the kids want when the water wars start. I have over a dozen waterguns available to my kids and their friends in the neighborhood, and this one always gets chosen first. Now that they have the larger clips, it is even better. This one goes through water fast, so invest in the larger 20 or 37 ounce clips!

I purchased two of these for my boys. Let me tell you it is so hot here but this was a FUN way to get us to go outside and get wet. I love playing with my boys but this was the most fun I had squriting them. I even want to buy another one for myself and a few refill packs. I recommend at least 3 of them for lots of fun!

This product stinks. Don't be fooled by how it look on the cover. THis super soaker has a range of 7 feet at best. It's mags run out quickly, and you miss your target by 2 feet.Even if it's free I wouldn't buy this for anyone ever.

This super soaker is a true drencher. With its amazing cyclone of water to unleash upon your enemy it works great at medium range . I love the new water clip design. I always got drenched when I bent over the pool to refill now I can do it on the go. This is the gold of the arsenal.
