The Fisher-Price Grow with Me Boy's Quad Roller Skates are a great pair of first roller skates for your little boy. They include the "1-2-3" learn-to-skate feature. Start with setting #1 so beginners can walk in the skates with one wheel locked. As confidence and ability increase, advance to level #2, where the adjustment wheel rolls forward but not back. Then it's on to #3 for freewheeling fun! The rear wheels are spaced apart for added stability.

The stages (no wheels rolling, one wheel rolling, both wheels rolling) are aweswome! They are also very easy to get on little feet and secure with velcro strap. We haven't had them for long, but they seem durable. We had a pair of character skates for my daughter (more expensive) and they were not nearly as good as these.

These skates are great because of the 3 adjusters that allow the wheels to (1) not roll (2) roll forward only and (3) roll forward and backward. This was great for helping my child get the knack of skating! I would however prefer a locking ankle strap, not velcro. My son also would have liked a cool design on the skates. But as far as functionality, these are pretty good, and better than another product we tried first!

My son loves his new roller skates. He was having difficulty using regular roller skates at the roller rink, so we tried these. He was able to balance himself much better and skate by himself. They are also easy to adjust and put on.

I don't know how the product is since we never received it. The store only had one on the shelf,I needed two. Salesperson said i could get them online,on time for christmas. We had a couple of purchases in our hand and was told if we bought all on line we would have free shipping.Our receipt says everything is in stock. Got home and had an email from Yoys R Us saying skates were not available and i had to pay shipping for the other porchases that i could of walked out uf the store with. When i called Toys R US they did absolutley nothing to remidy the situation. Salesperson did say they get extra for having a customer buying on-line at the store. to bad the grandkids don't get thier presents

the skates are super cute. it was for a gift so i'm really hoping it would fit my nephew. it looks durable and sturdy. it would be a nice gift for newbies learning how to skate.
