Was giving this item to my son for a gift, but once set up the balls just fell out of the pitching part. there was no way to hit the balls. It has weak power for the money!!

This is a great concept but the toy does not work. The balls that came with the product do not funnel through unless they are pushed through manually. Even pushing them through manually the balls only shoot out a couple of feet. We have tried several sets of batteries, so it is not a battery issue. My five year old, who is learning to play ball is very disappointed. After reading other reviews we will be taking it back to the store and finding something else. Do not waste your money on this toy.

In addition to the flaws noted in other reviews (netting, flimsy, netting/pitching machine connection) the unit we purchased didn't work as advertised.

The balls wouldn't funnel into the machine correctly and other times it would beep but the ball wouldn't come out.

For the price and target group, I didn't expect much. Even at that, it fell way short of expectations.

Overall, a huge disappointment. It's going back.

Awesome idea!!! My 3 year old got this and was very excited. The pitching machine pitches slow, but that was expected. The whole net contraption is not what I would expect from little tykes. Very poor design. We have exchanged this toy 3 times now, because the netting easily tears when trying to attach to the pitching machine. It tore the very first time I tried to attach it. Since then, I have been extremely careful, but it still tears slightly. The frame around the netting is very flimsy too. When I think of Little Tykes, I think of toys that will hold up. This is not true with this toy. Overall, not satisfied. For the money I paid, I would have liked a toy that was designed a little better.

Our 4 year old son loves this toy! The self feeding feature is nice for us. It is nice to step back and not have to pitch.
