I purchased the first Mystery Mansion when it first hit the stores. It was junk, feel apart, and my kids' were not happy, so we returned it. My kids' and I are huge Scooby fans, and my kids' have most of the Scooby playsets. My son kept begging for the mansion, but I kept holding off in hopes that the makers would revise the mansion and make it better.

My wish came true. We stopped at TRU yesterday, and I noticed that the mansion was made a bit different. It has a goo touret. Interesting. My son had saved his money, and wanted to purchase this again. I figured it had been well over a year since we purchased the first one, so I let him purchase it.

Once we got it home, and I got it set up, I noticed that there were some improvements that were made. First off, the goo touret is a nice touch. There's much detail in the entrance way. The front porch actually locks into the mansion, unlike the older model. The stairway in the house seems to be more sturdy, and the couch was made of a hard rubber, not some hard, cheap plastic like the older model. The moose is just a sticker this time, unlike last time where it was an actual prop, but always fell off the wall.

The mansion is still made out hard plastic and has a cardboard roof, but it seems like the company at least made some improvements.

My kids' have been playing with Scooby's mystery mansion for 2 days now, and so far no parts have fell off unlike last time.

It could still use some improvements, but my kids' are happy and that's what matters.

My boys really love Scooby Doo. I found this and thought it looked perfect for my son's birthday! We finally had his party yesterday, he opened it and we put it together...again...and again...and again. It falls apart into about 15 different pieces. I finally super glued some of the pieces together this morning and am waiting for it to dry now...hopefully the glue will do the trick because he really does love it!

There are some cool things about it - trap doors, hidden "spooks" etc.

      I like the detail and cool things in this mansion but its not meant to be played with it like falls apart as soon as you touch it and its not that cheap of a toy for that. I don't know what its going for now but we payed like 40 for it and its worth about half that if even

        This has to be the absolute WORST toy I have ever purchased! I have 3 kids so I have purchased a lot of toys over the years. It is a pain to put together and it literally falls apart as my son tries to play with it. He gets so frustrated. DO NOT BUY THIS.

            I bought this last Christmas. All the pieces snap together and basically unsnap every time my kids play with it. So it falls apart in pieces and has stayed in pieces since we've had it. It would be a fun toy if it didn't have huge design flaws. Do NOT buy this!!!

                Bought this toy for my son when he was 4 yrs old. It does a lot of cool things but it is very delicate. Unless your child will be extremely careful when playing, this house will fall apart. I spent more time putting it back together than he got to play with it.

                        The product was broken within a couple of hours after opening it at a birthday party. The house could not be put back together. I tried to push the hinges together but I was afraid of breaking it more. I am returning it and not buying this again which is a disappointment because there is not many Scooby Doo toys out there.
