I bought this for my 2 year old because he loves play-doh. We took the moon dough out and played with it like the instructions said and then tried to make the animals and it kept falling apart. The stuff crumbled everywhere..We are going to keep the parts and use it with play doh

My mother-in-law bought this for my 4 year old thinking that it would be the same as playdoh. It crumbles, it doesn't really hold its shape because it ends up being a mess. I'm keeping the shaping pieces and using playdoh and throwing away the moon dough!!

First-my kids LOVE Moon Dough. It is fun, easy to use and cleans up easily. My 3 year old snuck out the moon dough and played with it on my soft fabric sofa and it did not stick in the fibers or stain the fabric like PlayDoh would have. It sweeps up (or vaccums up) easily and does not mash into the carpet. We have almost ALL of the playsets and he loves them all!

I can be messy, but the clean up is easy.

The ratings from other moms who said it did not mold well or were hard to use must not have read the instructions first. The moon dough must be worked a little before it is used the first time.

My 2 year old loves playdough. So I thought this would be great since it doesn't dry out. But, it is very crumbly. She can't mold it or even hold the molded pieces without them falling apart. The zoo is very cute...but kind of a pain. I will keep the zoo but plan on using play dough with it instead.

Great color selection, excellent idea of 'walking animals'. Just don't get water near this kit and you'll be fine. My 3 year old loves it and is never bored playing with it.

I just bought the Magic Zoo Moon dough kit. My 6 year old beged for it. He liked the walking animals. I must admit it was a cute idea.So he was very excited. Only to get it and watch how time after time each animal he created fell apart of the wind walker if he touched it too much. Also there are 3 plastic molds but only 2 windwalkers. It would have made more sense to have 3 so all three animals could be made and could walk.The moon dough wass SO MESSY, it crumbled eveywhere my son used it and everytime there was more to clean up. A total waste of money. I ended up throwing away the moon dough because of it crumbling everywhere and NOT holding together. I bought some play doh and my son uses it with the walking animals molds works great. Even though it does dry out IF left uncovered that IS still better than moon dough! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY MOON DOUGH at all!
