I bought this tent last minute because it was the only one BRU had in-store and I was headed to the beach that day. Like other reviewers wrote, it was SO easy to set up...to break it down, it took me about 10 minutes to figure it out and I'm STILL not even sure I did it right. I kind of just twisted it all together - my husband held the carry bag and I shoved it in. I'm on here right now to try to read the step-by-step breakdown that other mom's wrote and figure it out for next time.

The tent was sturdy, not flimsy at all, it held down at the beach (didn't fly away) and very spacious for my 2 year old to hang out in. I would definitely recommend this product to someone. Price is a little steep but I guess it's not so bad since I'll be getting more use out of it - I hope!

I wanted a baby cabana for my daughter for when we go to the beach. It is easy to set up because it just pops up but the fold up is impossible. My husband is very handy and therefore is good with instructions or just by using his common sense. But there are no instructions and since we could not figure it out we folded back up incorrectly. Therefore the wires were all messed up and the next time we used it, the cabana was all disfigured. A complete waste of money. We had to throw it out. Find another cabana... don't even consider buying this one!

My daughter loved the tent. We used it at the beach and it was great HOWEVER i have so many issues folding the tent up. The instructions on folding the tent are worthless. It will show you point C but will not show you how to get to point C. I like the tent, but would of gotten a different one.

This works well at the beach to give my child a place to play and out of the sun/sand. DO NOT try to disassemble for the first time when you are rushed for time. Purchase and practice when you have time to get the hang of it.

Another reviewer gave good instruction on disassembling it, here is my take on providing instructions:
1- Lie the tent on its side so you can see the shiny gray bottom. Have the side with the zippers (where you open the tent to let your kid in/out) facing to the LEFT.
2- Take the corner that is up in your RIGHT hand and push it down to the bottom LEFT corner. Don't push from the tubing/bars, push from the blue and green fabric portion.
3- your tent should be flat on the ground now. You should see two of the sides, one on the left and one on the right. They will not be exactly side-by-side because of the shape of the tent (the top is smaller than the bottom).
4- fold the RIGHT half over on top of the LEFT half. Think of it like closing a book.
5- your folded tent should just look like ONE section now. The shiny gray bottom should not be visible, it should be tucked up into the folded tent.
6- This is the tricky part, and I have not found a good way to describe it. You have to twist the flat tent back into a circle shape. Take your RIGHT hand on the top of the tent (if you think of the tent as a triangle, it's the top of the triangle) and your LEFT hand along the bottom. Twist (like you are ringing out a washcloth) and make your LEFT hand go across your body to the right side so you the left side end up over top of the right side.
At this point the tent kind of looks like 3 rings that loosely stack on top of each other. It won't stay that way, so if you let go it will uncoil, so hold onto it while you get the bag- the bag is needed so that the tent doesn't uncoil from this circular shape.

I'm sure I haven't explained this perfectly, but at least maybe it gives you a start so you don't have to break the thing trying to pack up from the beach or lug it home half disassembled! Let's hope they provide official, good instructions soon so more people can enjoy this otherwise good product.

This is a great little tent to use outside for my 4 month old son and my 2 year old likes it too. Super easy to set up and take down. It could have better instrustions for how to fold it back up but it was super easy to do without them, just pay attention to how you unfolded it then do it in reverse. It literally took me seconds to fold it back up and it fit into the bag perfectly with room to spare.

I loved the idea of this tent for my little girl. I thought she could use it at the beach as well as around the house. And since it was large it could be used for years to come. Got it home, set it up and loved it. HOWEVER, you CAN NOT take it down. I worked on it for hours with no luck. Had no choice but to return it for something that I could put up AND take down. Too bad :(

I bought this gift for a friend of mine. I'm not a mom but all the other moms loved this. They commented how they are going to get it for their kids as well. Basically a good buy for expecting parents especially those that like to be outdoors (beach, backyard, park).

We bought this item and thought at first that it was very easy to set up and would be great for our daughter on the beach. But once we looked closer, there was a hole in the tent and fabric was frayed. My husband went back to the store that day and returned it for another and when we got home, the new tent had the same problem... hole in the fabric. We thought ok third time is the charm...we were wrong, my husband decided to open up all of the tents they had left in the store (3), and each one of them had some kind of hole or frayed fabric. I didn't expect this thing to be a top notch cabana since it was not too expensive, but come on how does it pass inspection from the manufacturer when there are holes.

This is a great product for the beach but as the other reviews have said, there is no really instructions on how to put it away with it or on the web. So I thought I write them here. Ok, so you have got it up, what next?
1) Fold two-sides into the tent. That is, take the back-right bottom corner and push it towards the front-left bottom corner. This is the trick to getting it to go flat.
2) You should have two flapping sides. Place the whole thing flat, with the bottom side of the tent facing you.
3) It front of you, flat on the floor the tent should make a rough triangle shape. Hold the bottom edge and roll the top corner in on itself. While rolling the hard edges should start bending into some rough loops.
4) Pull the rough loops in on themselves. This will be basically like merging three separate circles stacked on each other.
5) it is done! it should fit nicely in the bag.
