The Maclaren Techno XT Stroller in Crown Blue on Cown Blue Frame is the flagship high-tech buggy with superior comfort, performance, and sporty style. Appropriate for newborns and older, the Techno XT features a head hugger and shoulder pads for a younger child but can be easily removed once the child is older. Weighing only 15 pounds, the Techno XT features height adjustable handles, adjustable leg rests, and 4 reclining seat positions for baby's comfort. BRU Cannot Find A Store That Carries

I had to buy the product elsewhere, not sold at BRU in my state, and got sick of calling out of state stores. Unavailable online. (Not even sure if any other stores would ship, because I never found one. The Techno XT 2012 is great in itself, comes with rain cover, matching straps and headrest. A little difficult to fold and unfold. To adjust the straps you have to go in the back and pop them off with a butter knife. Then feed them through to the setting of your choosing, don't forget the headrest. Don't forget to pop them back in, through the back where you got them from for safety. I would not recommend registering for this unless stocked at a local BRU store.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The main reason we bought this stroller is because Maclaren doesn't use the toxic flame retardant chemicals that other makers use. It is lightweight, easy to fold and unfold and easy to put my child into. The basket isn't very large and there are no cupholders but that's the same with any umbrella stroller. I'm in the process of buying the Sunshine Kids Buggy Buddy to go with it. I have washed the seat cover once, it was easy to remove (once I figured out how) and it washed very well on a cold delicate cycle then hung to dry. It dried overnight and looks great.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I recently purchased the techno XT and I'm really unhappy with the product. I had a Maclaren Quest in 2007 when I had my daughter and I loved everything about it. It handled beautifully (could steer one handed!) and the quality really stood the test of time. I just passed that along to a friend of mine who is now using it for her 10 month old. I had my son in July and couldn't wait to purchase this stroller for him, especially since I decided to go the next model up from the Quest.

The handling is terrible, the stroller goes all over the place. I've only been using three weeks and the wheels are squeaking so badly it's driving me crazy. The telescoping handles on this stroller are wobbly themselves while pushing, feels really cheap. The frame feels cheap and poorly made, not even close to the quality frame on my old Quest. I'm really disappointed. I don't know if Maclaren switched manufacturers since 2007 but it definitely does not feel like the same quality and it's a shame because I expected at the very least to like it as much as my Quest, if not more since I paid so much more.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Great stroller... priced too high, but its nice. Reclines great, umbrella cover/top covers the whole child in seat. I love the rain shield accessory. Best feature rides smoothly. Its a bit heavy.. if you are looking for lightwieght umbrella stroller this is not. I use it for everything walking, shopping and running errons.
