The product is very useful for straightening hair and if your hair is thin ( not mine ) it will curl and wave well but if you have thick hair it only straightens and soon after I started it up it was very hot to handle

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      The heating element went out after 5-10 mins the 1st & only time I used this. I'm now stuck with a useless broken flat iron. :(

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
