My one year old daughter loves this car! She hates a stroller but will ride for HOURS in the Push Around Buggy without complaint. It's super cute and always a go-to favorite with the kids. This is our second buggy, having purchased one of these cars six years ago for my son's first birthday. I knew from experience it would be a well loved and quality product. Our new "anniversary edition" seems to retain the same durability as the original. It is comfy enough for long rides, and the functioning "trunk" is a big hit! One of the only problems I have noticed is that the car is VERY low to the ground. This is good for little ones to enter and exit the car, but I have noticed my daughter can drag her foot on the ground while moving. When riding on asphalt, or other rough surfaces, there is the potential for injury to little feet or at the very least, damage to their shoes. Also the horn is difficult for her to apply enough pressure to make it squeak. It's NOT really an issue, but be prepared to have to push it for them if they want to enjoy it. Lastly, I do wish there was a bit more foot room. It's not a problem now, but could be as she grows. Still, considering these things and other similar products, I believe the Push Around Buggy is the best choice in ride/push cars - FUN for the kids and the quality you expect from Step 2.

We received this little car as a birthday gift for my 2 year old. Putting it together was one of the most frustrating experiences I've had as a single mom. The recessed wheels/hubcaps made thecaps difficult to pound onto the wheel shaft...had to find a small tupperware cup to support the bottom cap. The bolt for the handle didn't even remotely fit through the predrilled hole so I had to carve out enough space for it to finally fit through. Very cute once it was together however, once it was in use I discovered another issue...my toddler can and does stick his legs out to the side as we're walking and puts them on the ground making it difficult to move the car...if I hadn't been paying attention on the mulitple times he'd done this his little legs would have been broken from the force of me pushing and him stopping. Although my brother has this item and loved it for his 2 children I would never recommend it due to the safety issues.

This lasted me 30 seconds before it broke, after about a 20 minute put together. The box says it's for 1-4 year old's and maximum weight is 50 pounds. I don't think so. My son is 2 and weighs 30 pounds. He barely fit into it. The problem is the wheels don't turn and the plastic handle that you push them with has a flimsy part at the bottom. So when I went to turn my son, (which was hard because you have to literally lift the toy to turn it due to the wheels not turning) the plastic snapped. That's it toy done. I can maybe see this being good for a lighter and younger child. But how they got the recommended age and weight limit on this one is beyond me.

Can't beat it for the price. Appears to be quite durable and maneuverable. Only possibly fault is the way the handle is attached to the body.When making turns it feels like the handle is being strained. Perhaps two screws in lieu of one may make handle sturdier.Otherwise, it seems to be well-built. Baby loves the front compartment for storing other toys.

    Pretty easy to put together just make sure you hammer the parts on a concrete surface so you won't damage your floors. My daughter had this in pink when she was 1 and loved it soo much she would squeeze into it at 4 years old. Now my 1 year old son has one and from the very first time he saw it he's loved it. With this I can safley push my son around while my daughter (almost 5) rides her bike. The seat belt is just a normal buckle strap but keeps in my wiggly little guy just fine. He's super tall for his age and can easily reach over to the hood when we aren't moving and open the hood. When I was pushing him in the buggy it only took one or 2 times of me saying a disapproving 'ah-uh' for him to not do it again. He can also drag his feet (I'm sure every kid can) and as annoying that is to me, it's a fun kid thing to do so I just make sure he's wearing shoes and let him get away with dragging his feet a few times as we walk. One reviewer said that she feared her child could break a leg because of the feet dragging. Honestly after having had this buggy for so long and watching both my kids drag their feet (with shoes on...and by shoes I mean fully covered sneakers not open toes) I don't think that's at all possible. Mostly because I'm aware of what my son is doing and where we're walking. If you have multiple kids this buggy is really awesome in helping you get out with a crawler/toddler while the older child does his/her thing. I almost with it had a brake but I've gotten so accustomed to parking it in the grass for it to not roll away that it's not really a problem.

            My parents bought this for my 12 month old and he absolutely loves it! He makes car sounds and wants it to go faster. Great substitution for a traditional stroller and also fun to just play around the yard. I love the fact that it has a seat belt.
