    Comments about Chicago Roller Skate Chicago Ladies Rink Skates - Size 7:

    I purchased these skates for my Wed night Mommy/Daughter outing. I only wore them 3 times and the bearings on the right skate, 2 wheels, broke. It wasn't a lot of money to replace them, about $3 for each wheel. But coupled with the cost of the skate plus the shipping, I wasn't expecting to spend more money on accessories.

    Luckily, the rink has a service area and was happy to help me to repair my wheels so I could continue skating. The skates are useless without the bearings in the wheels. The rink repair told me that the bearings used were cheaply made and most likely the other wheels would break as well. Cost to replace all bearings (there are 2 per wheel) will be $24.

    I'm considering sending them back, but will I have the same issue with another pair. I am extremely disappointed and will not purchase an adult pair of skates through the website again.
