This is a great swing. We didn't have any problems with it not rocking until now as my son is 20 pounds. So it doesn't rock like it did when he was 10 or 15 lbs. I love that it reclines to several positions. it's been a great place for him to nap.

I love this swing. I read other comments complaining that this is the only thing their child will sleep in now that they have used it. I'm not sure why you would complain about that. As a first time mom, finding something that my newborn would sleep in for an extended period of time was a blessing. Now if my DD (6 weeks old, and about 10 pounds) falls asleep at night in the swing, I just leave her there and sleep next to her. It's the most solid sleep I get! As for the swing, yes the clicking of the swing mech is a little loud, but it's so constant that it actually helps make my DD drowsy so she sleeps. We've left it on now for hours on end, and we're still on the first set of batteries for it. Haven't used the vibrate feature as much, because she hasn't needed it. The sounds though were helpful, particularly the white noise sound, and they get quite loud which is soothing for newborns. My complaints, if any, are that the arm for the mobile tends to not stay in place, and eventually wiggles behind her as she rocks. Also I haven't tried the 30 minute timer, but I'd need more than 30 minutes to keep her asleep. Lastly, other websites advertise the swing with the toy bar included. Here you'd have to purchase that separately. Otherwise, this swing has been a Godsend to us, and I can't imagine how I'd get anything done without it.

I registered for this swing since the baby's room theme was neutral pooh-bear, although when I did so there were no reviews on it. BIG MISTAKE! I did get it as a gift for my shower and was initially happy with it. Until my colicky/reflux baby decided that it's the ONLY place he will sleep (every night & naps going on for two months now) Sure it's cute & my baby seems comfortable in there but that is about all it has going for it. The mobile (although cute) rotates way back behind the seat (we took it off). The tray didn't come with toys and was annoying for constant daily & nighttime use, so we took it off. The swing motor is LOUD- much louder than a Graco swing my friend has that is a few years older. It is SUCH A PAIN to chage the batteries which it goes through like crazy (granted I use it all the time, and wish I had the forethought to get a swing that pluged in- I would suggest to any firsttime parent to look for a swing that plugs in!) You need a screw driver to open the battery cover- and it's a special size screwdriver at that. It's inconvienet at 4am when your baby is screaming! Difficult to clean the straps that go over the shoulder ( wipe with a damp cloth is the best you can do) which is hard since my baby spits up quite a bit. The seat itself has held up well so far with multiple trips in the washing machine, so I guess that is a plus. Also, my baby is only now nearing 13lbs, and when he moves his head or shifts his body at all, the arms of the swing make a terrible creaking noise. Overall, I am disapointed with this swing and learned my lesson the hard way- don't register for/buy products that nobody has reviewed yet- I am sorry I did. I really wanted to like this swing too becuase of the super cute theme. Disappointed mom.

Purchased this swing with the birth of our 3rd, we had a carter's brand swing that was horrible with our second so we thought we would try graco, sadly though this swing was just as pathetic. The pattern is adorable, the mobile super cute and entertaining I just wished the swing worked! It lasted through the tiny baby phase, went back and forth just fine and didnt eat up batteries. Now our son is only 14lbs and we replaced the batteries and it starts off with a slow rock and then just stops like it doesnt have the power to move it along. I have yet to see to many good reviews on swings in general, maybe none are built to last! We couldnt afford a brand new swing so we settled for a travel swing as a replacement, and it works better then this did.

Very cute design but the swinging mechanism makes a loud clicking noise while in use. Also unless the mobile is very carefully aligned the swing doesn't swing and just barely rocks, still making the loud clicking noise.
However, the music is very nice and my child still loves to sit in it even with the little rocking.

This swing is way cuter in person! I just set it up and it was kind of frustrating because it tells you to put all the seat part together then it tells you later on in the directions that you have to take it all apart again to put the headrest on the straps so i would recommend putting the headrest on the straps before setting up the seat or clipping the fabric to the seat. Mine didn't come with the toy for the tray?? but other then that the only problem was putting the headrest in.. i still haven't done it I'm waiting till my hubby gets home to have him do it.. but it seems like a really cute swing any baby would love it's exactly what i wanted in a swing and matches my decor perfectly the material seems very well made as well.
