I bought this slide in Feb 2012 for Valentines day. Kids started using it in the pool in March. Kids 8 and 9 are rough and tough. They played with it with friends all summer. My kids finally ripped the ladder part off in Oct 2012 while using it as a boat in the pool (i.e their own fault). I almost didn't buy it because of the reviews but I think I will be buying another one in the spring. Good enough for the price. Just asked them what they think about the slide. One said "I love it" and the other one said "Istill love it...we can use it as a boat"

We ordered this slide for our grandkids. [...] Slide is easy to inflate. We have a deck which overhangs our above ground pool. To make sure it wouldn't get punctured by the wood deck, we placed the slide on a large tarp folded and doubled. Worked perfect. We only ran the hose a short while- it was filling up our pool too much. Kids ended up squirting the slide with a squirt gun, then sliding. Slide does seem sturdy. Given all the comments about tearing we were careful to limit rough-housing. But even trying to be careful didn't help- it has already ripped in one area (at the base of the "ladder"..... and was only used for 4 days. Treat this product with TLC. Can't take much abuse. Some reviews said adults went down. We allowed 150 lbs. Overall BIG hits with the kids!!

My kids love this product. I love this product.
Even my adult friends slide down when we have pool parties....Just make sure you give it a lttle more air each week or so to keep it really full and supportive if an adult will be using it.

The inflated stairs section of the slide ripped within a week of purchasing it and was too large to put a patch on so we tore that section out and the kids use it without it.

We read all the reviews about this slide and most of them stated that it will come apart at the seams. We like to form our own opinion and ordered the slide. Well, it's true ~ after only 2 days of use (nothing abusive)the slide had a hole at the seam by the "ladder". Overall, I love this slide, it's big, has a nice and wide sliding surface and I am bummed that it's broken.[...]
