The Good: The quality of the visual design is absolutely worth your money. The colors on the shade, the sculpture and hand painting are absolutely adorable, love it!

The Bad: Wobbly rod that holds up the shade tends to lean back and the switch to turn the lamp on is all the way on the bottom of the cord.

If you know someone handy than the "bad" could be easily fixed. My husband peeled back the backing on the bottom of the lamp to tighten the nut that holds the wobbly rod and also unscrewed the switch, sealed it with electrical tape, stripped a few wires and moved the switch to the base of the lamp.

I have wanted this lamp for months bc it is SO cute and would just add the perfect finishing touch to the nursery. Well I finally treated myself to it today. Get home and the first problem ( which could be isolated to just this one ) is a dent in the shade that cannot be popped back out. Another minor issue is the part that holds up the shade and the lightbulb ( different then the decorative owl part) is really wobbly. If it were just these two things I would have exchanged it for a new one and kept it. However, the most ridiculous thing is that the on / off switch is about 6 inches higher than the plug. It is going on the dresser and the outlet is behind the dresser. So, I would have to move the dresser to turn it on. Such a poor design with seemingly no thought put into it. I am so mad about this!

This lamp is very cute and goes really well with the rest of the set. Be careful when ordering on-line, I was shocked with the condition it was sent to me in. The box looked like it was stomped on. Ended up having to drive to the store and exchange for a new. It goes very nicely on a dresser except the on/off switch is at the base of the plug. Makes it a little harder to access.

When I heard from an employee about this lamp I know I had to have it for my daughter's nursery. It wasn't available in my local store and the manager ordered it online and I didn't have to pay any shipping charges! I love it. I lights up the room fairly well but you may need an additional light to light the entire room. I know that these lights are hand-painted but I wish there was a little more detail in the colors instead of being so flat, but that's just me :)

I love this lamp for my daughter's nursery! We needed a light for night time feelings that wasn't too bright. This lamp goes with the colors of her nursery and the other reviews made me think this would be a perfect choice. When it arrived it was broken. I think it just wasn't packed well enough and took some abuse during delivery. I brought it to the store to return and found the same one in the store so I grabbed it. The reason i chose top stick with it is because of how well done it is. All the other lamps were resin or plastic. This is a hand painted porcelain material. Feels more substantial then the others and I think is more of a quality item.

This lamp is sooooo cute! I'm a little concerned about when my little girl is older because it's very heavy and made of glass, will be easy to nock over and break and/or injure anyone it lands on. But, for now it's in a non-mobile babies room, so we'll see. It also came with a CFL lightbulb, which is super cool and made set up very easy.

We received this lamp as a gift for our baby girl's nursery. We thought it was absolutely adorable, but when we opened it, the cloth shade had several rips in it. I brought it back and received a new one. When we set up the new one, we noticed that the post that holds the lamp up is crooked. Tired of going back to the store, we are just dealing with it and tried to angle it so it is less noticeable. Also, the switch is a little far from the base of the lamp, so it's kind of pain to turn on an off. At least it looks cute!

I absolutely love this lamp. The colors are great, and it looks even better when lit. I think the colors are a little more vibrant than the picture. Works fine, nice quality.
