We bought this exact model about 5 years ago and it's still an excellent seat! We moved our daughter into it when she was about 4/5 months old and she is still in it now as her primary booster. We have had it in trucks, jeeps and a small mazda and has fit fine. Only vehicle it won't fit well into is a cab 1/2 older model truck. Overall it has been awesome and we have def. gotten our money's worth. The only negative thing is that it was difficult to get in and out for the first year since we didn't transfer the car seat too often, however, after some practice I can get it latched and un latched just as quick and easy as any other one I've dealt with.

its a bit heavy but i never take it out of my car. is safe, comfortable, my son is comfortable in it, it has side in pack protection and its sturdy! I have no problem hooking it up.

I love it.. very safe..supportive, side in pact protection.. my son is very comfortable in it... i would buy it again if i ever need one. its not light weight but thats ok for me. I never have to take it out of my car. I was able to hook it in just fine.

I really wanted to like this car seat but it just fell short. I love the look of the seat and my son looks like he fits comfortably inside. I made sure after reading all the reviews that I carefully read the instructions on how to install it. It seemed simple enough and it is easy to install but the belt design in stupid. It is impossible to pull the belt tight enough to prevent the seat from moving back and forth 3 or 4 inches. I tried, my husband tried, and my brother tried but none of us could get it any tighter. I cannot get the seat to recline any further back so my son's head slumps forward when he falls a sleep. The five point harness is hard to loosen to get the child out and will only tighten to a certain point so its loose around his chest. After giving it three weeks I am returning to get the S1 Safety First car seat instead. My friend loves this car seat and I have installed in my car during play dates and it is so easy.

I have had this car seat since my son reached the weight limit on the infant one (about 1 year ago). I have never had any issues with the car seat and find that after a few times, it is very easy to move from car to car. The straps tighten and loosen just fine. My son is comfortable in the seat and has plenty of room to grow.

easy to install. it took my husband about 10 minutes to install it in my Honda Accord(i really mean 10 minutes. we were going out and i was timing him). i was a little skeptical about getting this product because it wasnt the one i had done searched on. we originally wanted the Eddie Bauer one, but BabiesRus doesnt carry Eddie Bauer convertibles. therefore, we ended up getting this one. i almost returned it after i read all the bad reviews this seat had, but im glad i didnt because i love it. the only thing i wished it had was something for me to hang his little teething toy.

Product looked really nice but wouldn't fit in my 4Dr Toyota Tacoma or Kia Sorrento for Rear Facing. There was no way for it to recline to the correct angle without moving my seat in the Sorento as far forward as I could. I never thought about that when we did our baby registry! I would recommend pulling your car up and seeing if it will fit before you buy.... Now I am on a mission to find a smaller convertible seat!

We purchased this to replace our infant carrier. It was almost impossible to install ourselves and we had to have the local fire dept. install it for us. The head-rest adjusters rattle when our baby isn't in the seat and the seat belt never quite adjusts correctly when we try to secure the baby. All of this was enough to be an irritant, but when our baby vomited today while in the car, we found it almost impossible to remove the cover to wash. Find a different option.

Everything about the car seat is just fine. In fact I would love it if the latched were not so hard to work. Twice I have almost have to cut the straps to release my child from the seat. No longer can any of my other children be a help at getting their brother out and I sure can't release him from the driver's seat. I have to get in the back with the seat and with all my might attempt to release the bottom latch. The chest latch is no piece of cake either. I'm pretty sure we will have to buy another new seat soon because the day is coming that I will have to cut those straps

We loved the features of this car seat. However, when installing it rear-facing it was a pain. You can't grab the tightening strap and just pull with all your might. No, you have to squeeze your fingers in between the strap and the car seat and inch the strap tight while pushing down on the front. We haven't tried it forward facing, so that's why I gave three stars. But if it proves to be just as difficult to install forward, I would give it one star.
