Bullets go FAR! They are easy to use and bullets are durable. Best nerf gun we have bought. I bought one for my husband, 8 year old and 5 year old and they have played, NONSTOP!!

It fires well, and it almost never jams. I have had only one jamming problem and it was not the guns fault. It fires very far and will go just as far even if shot at an upward angle. If you want a good nerf gun, this is the one.

My 21 year old son was a little jealous that he didn't get a Disc Shooter for Christmas like his younger brothers, so I sent him one (he's a junior in college!). I'm sure he's lovin' it.

I bought two of these for our kids' christmas. They're a lot of fun. Easy to load / reload. Fairly easy to fire quickly. The discs travel far and fast... they're actually a little too fast; it stings a little if they hit you within 10 ft.

They're a little too complicated / stiff / big for my toddlers, but that's to be expected... these are for older kids.

I was helping my kids shoot targets and within the first hour of play, one of the guns jammed in a way I can't clear. The guns have a mechanism for clearing misfires (this happens a lot when you're trying to shoot too fast). When this gun jammed, we were shooting slow and deliberate; the disc is jammed hard, deep in the 'barrel'.

The not-jammed gun is still a ton of fun - I hope it lasts a while.

Kept jamming up from the moment it was taken out of the box. Finally gave up after never having it fire correctly - took it back for a refund (and by the way - if purchase online and return to the store, you can only get a store credit - I'm sure it says that somewhere in the fine print, but worth knowing if you don't shop Toy R Us often).

This gun is AWESOME! I got it for my husband for Christmas and got my son the blaster. The new disk option is great. The gun doesn't jam, the disks fly far and fast, and yes they do sting (which makes it more fun in my opinion). I really like the extended stock, makes you feel like you're firing an actual rifle. The pump action is way more fun and a lot faster than the automatic version. I'd buy this over the dart versions any day!

Yes, the disks bounce off things and go under your furniture but it doesn't take that much effort to fish them out.

If you do buy one, make sure your buy one for yourself because you'll be a target regardless, might as well be armed.

A really like this gun, it is much more accurate than the nitron, and abslolutely no delay.good for sniping in nerf wars. It is much cheaper than the nitron, and if you can pump fast enough, it can sometimes shoot faster than the nitron. the only thing is, like other vortexes, after using it a whole lot at a time it doesnt shoot as far, but quickly recoveres. probably the best in the vortex lineup. (just dont shoot them too close it can hurt a bit
