      This year's BIG Nerf Auotmatic Gun!!

      This is the gun that everyone is going to see on the shelf and say... "Wow, now THAT'S A BIG GUN!". And, rightfully so. It's a monster!Read complete review

      This is the gun that everyone is going to see on the shelf and say... "Wow, now THAT'S A BIG GUN!". And, rightfully so. It's a monster!

      Unlike the other guns in the lineup, this one is automatic and takes a whopping 6 batteries plus 2 for the scope.

      BONUS REVIEW NOTE : People will be buying this gun just for the scope. Watch out! It may be hard to get for reasons other than just the gun.

      While the automation is great, it can seem a bit lagged.

      And, there is something very satisfying about either the pump of the Praxis or the slide of the Vigilon.

      Either way. New Nerf. New Ammunition (XLR Discs that are like frisbees). Good Times.

      It has a nice targeting system, but for it to shoot the same distance as my recon CS-6, you have to wait 1 minute every time you shoot a disc, for the wheels to get fast enough. Also if you just hold the trigger to shoot automaticly the second disc only goes 3 feet away from your body. I would suggest getting one of the other vortex blaster

                  I thought the automatic feature could be a little faster and mine always keeps firing after i let go of the trigger. Also the stock is kind of big in the back of the gun i know its for the batteries but couldn't Nerf have found another less space consuming location.

                    This toy requires 8 C batteries and 2 AAA batterries. Not included of course. My son bought it with a gift card but I don't like toys that require so many batterries. Nerf guns usually do not.

                    The Nitro blaster is fast and easy to load, not to heavy because it uses smaller C size batteries vs. the D size of the Stampede. Smaller kids can use this blaster with no problems. What makes this blaster different is it shoots discs as apposed to darts. The discs shoot really far and pack a sting if you shoot someone close up. Be careful with these up close because they can make little kids cry if you shoot them in the neck or head by accident. The discs bounce off the walls and go all over the place which makes it even more fun. This is a fun blaster to have in a Nerf war. I like the look of this gun and it handles well.

                    The nitron is not bad no dought about that. The scope is sweet and the rapid fire feature makes the 20disk magazine even better. Is only weakness is it takes 6 c batteries. Overall it is the best vortex.
