      It doesn't even deserve 1 star, but I couldn't choose 0. Its recommended that babies sleep in a bed with tight fitting mattresses/sheets. The mattress on this bed has loose fabric and is not the same size as most other playards. The standard playard sheets do not fit, which makes the bedding even more loose and bunchy. Safety 1st does not make their own sheets that would fit. The padding on the mattress also feels loose and when you slide your hand on the mattress while in the crib, your finger will jam the wood slats in the mattress. Don't buy it just because its cute and stylish, its not worth it. I see this bed as a huge SIDS risk and assume it will be recalled at some point. I returned it immediately and chose a Graco model. Seriously, compare the two on display in the store and you will notice the difference in the mattresses.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        I couldn't ask for a better play yard. The price was right, it arrived sooner then it said and it was an easy set up...I love the color and what its cabable of doing...it is comfortable enough for an infant to lay in the bassinet. Overall, I'm satisfied.

        We are still waiting for baby to arrive so have not used it officially. Here is the deal so far though. The color is very nice for a boy. The bassinet is not very comfortable. The changing station is a hassle to put together and take apart for travel. It will work fine for us because we plan to use it when we drive to my mother's house who is 6 hours away so it will only be used on occasion. It would be too much of a pain to set up and take down on a regular basis. I don't think its comfy enough for baby to sleep in often either. The price was right though and will suit our needs just fine.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
