Components were breaking as the piece was being assembled! Even my 2 1/2 year old grandson said he likes the Fisher Price school bus MUCH better! This one, by Playmobile, really is garbage. I purchased the ambulance also; haven't opened it yet; but I'll bet it is just as awful. Please don't waste your money on these items. They really are garbage.

My 13 year old daughter and her 12 year old friend/girl still play with the playmobil toys and they love it. So for Christmas I thought of Playmobil first for my young great-nephews. Its something we can add-on for each holiday - birthdays, etc.

The prices on this toy vary a lot!!! I purchased it right before Christmas and it was thirteen dollars more than it is now. Great toy but, just buy directly from the manufacturer they don't inflate their prices!!!

MY 7 YEAR OLD HAS AUTISM AND LOVES THE SCHOOL BUS , IT REMINDS HIM OF HIS OWN RIDES TO SCHOOL . THE BUS IS REALISTIC AND OPENS UP A GREAT IMAGINATION DOOR FOR HIM TO PRETEND.

This is an awesome school bus! Lights can be turned on and off with the same button. The whole roof comes off so little hands can easily play inside. My son just turned 3 and he loves this bus as well as his Playmobil Ambulance and Paddle Boat, we will be purchasing many more Playmobil toys!

The Playmobil school bus is an adorable toy with lots of play value. It comes with 3 children and 1 bus driver figure. The good: The wheels are made of a rubbery material rather than hard plastic, so it is quiet to to roll on the floor. There is room for 7 students total, so you can put in 4 additional figures with the ones that come with the set. The top lights flash yellow and red when a button is pushed on top of the bus. Unlike other Playmobil products, there is no assembly. The only thing to do is put a few stickers on, and the set comes with them in both English and French. The not so good: there are two ways to access the figures inside. One is a flimsy bus door that it made of thin plastic, and the other way is to remove the entire top. This takes a lot of pulling (best to pull from the front towards the back) and may not be easy for little hands. There is also no off switch for the lights (they go off automatically after 40 secs). [...] I would recommend this only to people who are specifically looking for a school bus. Otherwise, I would consider sticking with a different (German made) Playmobil set, which usually requires more assembly, but seems sturdier.
