Features
It IS rocket science!
The LEGO Space Center's rocket is realistic and easy to build! The top of the rocket holds a satellite, and then when the destination is reached, it can open up to release the satellite into orbit! For manned missions, the rocket top can house the astronaut's cockpit instead.
T-minus 10 seconds
The launch pad has a tank and hose to gas up the rocket, a working elevator to carry the astronaut minifigure to the cockpit, and a clock display to count down to blastoff.
Houston, we have liftoff
Your LEGO mission commander can oversee the takeoff and monitor the flight of the rocket from the command center, which includes computers, communication devices, and radar.
One step at a time
LEGO makes it easy to construct the space center set by dividing it into several modules. The building pieces and instructions are separated to prevent confusion.
Description

3...2...1...blastoff! It's a big day at the LEGO City Space Centre (3368) and everyone is readying the rocket to launch! Fill up with fuel first and use the mechanic to adjust the rocket's engines. Activate the elevator to load the astronauts into their cockpit. Then get back to the control center to start the countdown. Make it your mission to send this super crew into space!

The LEGO City Space Centre (3368) features:
  • 4 minifigures: 2 astronauts, an operator and a mechanic
  • A rocket, control center, launch platform, satellite, countdown clock, vehicle, spacesuit, fuel tank and tool station
  • Fill up the rocket with the fuel tank and pump!
  • Activate the elevator to lift the astronauts up to the cockpit!
  • Use the tools to adjust the rocket engines!
  • Load the satellite before blastoff!
  • Rocket measures over 14" tall

      Our son had been looking at the Lego Space Center for months. He was able to put most of it together by himself. He did need some help with the launch pad. He has all three pieces to the space set and he spends hours playing with them. My only complaint is that the launch pad comes apart very easily. Our son will turn 5 in August, so he is younger than the suggested age for this set. I am tempted to glue some of the pieces on the launch pad together, but I know that he will eventually want to take it apart and put it together again by himself..

          My son has been wanting this Lego set for MANY months! He was super excited when he opened it Christmas morning. He loved putting it together and I loved watching him. The actual rocket took a bit as it is a bit heavier for such a skinny rocket. But once he had it put together, it was all good. It is a bit pricey for what you actually get. So it wouldn't be an everyday purchase or a just because gift.

            All I can say is that my two grandchildren were ecstatic when they opened their LEGO presents. Hundreds of little plastic parts were just the best gift both boys could imagine! After they create the intended projects, they will use their imaginations to build new LEGO creations.

                The Lego Space Center was a gift to a four year old boy from a family member. He had help from his dad and older cousin, putting it together. But, he loves it! The frame holding the rocket can be moved in and out of the whole frame. It is not only entertaining, but it teaches the young child about a space center concept and rocket design, etc. Great product! It is housed on his dresser with the Lego Island Lighthouse, and he loves both!

                this an awesome set. first lets talk about the rocket the person capsle is awesome its also cool that you can change it into a satlite compaartmet. it is awesome that it has a crawler. its quite realistic it looks like the aquarious rocket. the misson control is a bit small for the price but still cool. overall this set is the coolest lego city set.
