    Works well, sturdy. We just got the red travel train (the one the little people ride in) and it works fine with the signal station. Another review stated the people trains do not fit under but perhaps they did not place them in a sitting position first? In any case we are happy with the purchase. I recommend all the brio trains to anyone.

    Great idea... Poor execution

    Comments about BRIO 1001370 Brio Wooden Signal Station:

    This accessory is well made like all Brio items, quality top-notch. However, this accessory has a major design flaw in that the passenger trains (that include removable people and can be bought both in several sets and separately) DO NOT FIT under the bridge/walkway. The regular and shorter trains do fit underneath, but the passenger trains get stuck with the person inside. You can remove the person from the passenger train to get it to fit, but what kid remembers this while they are enjoying playing with their train set?!? Within the same brand at least, accessories should accommodate all the train options and this accessory does not.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Very well designed and made as expected from Brio. Turn the red dial at the top and it changes the signal from red to green while switching the points on the track at the same time. Comes with cute figure that can stand on the platform above the track. My sons loves it.
